HE111H-6 GUNNERY TRAINING
Very similar to the H-3, defensive
armament included a single MG15 7.9mm in
the nose with 1,000 rounds, two MG15s--
one firing from each beam window with
1,000 rpg, one MG15 in the dorsal rear
gunner position, one MG15 in the ventral
rear gunner position with 1,000 rounds,
and one 20mm MG FF with 180 rounds,
firing forward from the ventral gondola
Offensive armament options included two
LT F5b torpedoes, eight 551 pound bombs,
or four 1102 lb bombs. Some testing had
also been done with the Fritz X missile.
TO USE THIS PLANE: Access the gun
positions as if it were a normal B-17 by
pressing "G". The nose turret and waist
positions represent the single MG15
machineguns in the nose and beam windows.
The tail turret represents the ventral
gondola position. The top turret is the
top rear gunner position, again with
corrected arc of fire. The ball turret
has been modified to face forward and
represents the forward ventral gondola,
with a limited traverse, and houses the
MG FF cannon. To use the bombsight,
press "B". The only problem is a lack of
an autopilot.
The Fritz X missiles have been included
as an option, although they are not
guided in any way. You still have to
manually aim them. They have a range of
approximately three miles <Grin>.

MISSION
Place all your guns on autofire and
learn all the firing arcs of your guns.
Your plane has unlimited ammo and cannot
be damaged. You must press "Q" to quit.
