LAN Manager Installation Information

Microsoft LAN Manager versions 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2

The LAN Installation Disk does not contain a subdirectory
structure and files that make it an OEM import
disk for the LAN Manager installer.

You must create a subdirectory structure on
another diskette to make it an OEM import disk.
The structure should look like this.

create A:\MSLANMAN.DOS
create A:\MSLANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS
create A:\MSLANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\NIF
create A:\MSLANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\ETHERNET
create A:\MSLANMAN\DOS\DRIVERS\ETHERNET\ELPC575
copy LAN Installation DISK file \NDIS2\ELPC575.NIF
to OEM import disk A:\MSLANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\NIF\ELPC575.NIF
copy LAN Installation DISK file \NDIS2\ELPC575.DOS to
OEM import disk A:\MSLANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\ETHERNET\ELPC575\ELPC575.DOS
copy LAN Installation DISK file \NDIS2\PROTOCOL.INI to
OEM import disk A:\MSLANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\ETHERNET\ELPC575\PROTOCOL.INI

Use the import function of the LAN Manager installer
to capture the NDIS driver from the OEM Import Disk.

Be sure to save the new configuration before exiting the
installer.

This procedure describes how to import the
network driver for LAN Manager 2.2 for DOS.

    type: A:\SETUP.
