(4) HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTICS PROGRAM
======================================

In order to test your adapter please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Start the program SKDIAGFM.EXE with those options that specify the
	network adapter correctly.
	NOTE:
	- You have to select a slot only if more than one network adapter
	  are installed in your system.

Step 2: Select the action you want to do. To test the network adapter it is
recommended that the option "Diag. with Loopback" is selected from
the menu. You have to install wrap plugs first! If you don't have
any wrap plug select the "Diagnostics" menu item.

Step 3: If you intend to maintain your Flash PROM contents select the menu
item "FPROM ..." and a new menu will appear. Then you have the
choice between saving your Flash PROM contents to a file ("Save
FPROM to File"), writing a file into the Flash PROM ("Load FPROM
from File"), and erasing your Flash PROM contents ("Clear FPROM").

NOTE:
 - For the tests of the adapter it is absolutely necessary that the
Diagnostic Program has the exclusive use of that network adapter. All
drivers that run on that adapter will be stopped!
