(1) OVERVIEW

(2) INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NDIS DRIVERS
==================================================

To install the driver, you need the following items:

- the WfW Setup
- the Driver Disk

Follow these steps:

Step 1:	Start the WfW Setup program.

Step 2:	During the installation SETUP asks you for a network adapter
	driver.

Step 3:	Select "Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter" in the list of network
adapters (first line of the list).

Step 4:	Input the Driver Disk in drive A: or B: of your computer,
choose the correct path and press ENTER.

Step 5:	Select the given driver name with ENTER.

CAUTION: If you are installing WfW, the AUTOEXEC.BAT is
automatically updated with the NET START command
		 in the first line.

If you choose the real mode driver, the
		 Data Link Interface Driver
			UPPSFE
		 must be loaded BEFORE the
			NET START
command of WfW! So DO NOT FORGET TO EXECUTE STEP7.

Step 6:	SETUP installs the selected driver on your computer.

Step 7a:
If you chose the extended mode driver, you may change the SMT
parameters, by editing the file PROTOCOL.INI.
All SMT parameters are described in the SMTPARA.TXT file.

Step 7b:
If you chose the real mode driver, run the SK-UPPS installation
program AFTER the installation of WfW to configure the DLI.
Select "Windows for Workgroups" in the "Select Protocol for" field
of the "Driver Configuration Window". This option installs the DLI
driver as the first line in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file.

NOTE:	If you want to change the SMT parameters, you have to load
the SMTPARA.EXE program directly after loading the
UPPSFE driver. SMTPARA.EXE can be found in the \DLI
directory on the option disk. You have to write the
path to the file OPTIONS.SMT file as parameter in
the parameter line of SMTPARA.EXE. All SMT
parameters are described in the OPTIONS.SMT file.

(3) INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR NETWARE SUPPORT
=================================================

Step 1:	Install the ODI driver under DOS (see instructions in the
	NOVELL\DOS directory).

Step 2:	Install the NDIS2 driver under WfW 3.11 (see above). The driver
should bind to IPX/SPX Compatibel Transport with NETBIOS and to
	Microsoft NETBEUI.

Step 3:	Under Configure choose Real Mode NDIS Driver.
Under Configure\Advanced... choose Topology = FDDI.
Ignore the following 2 warnings (choose OK).

Step 4:	Ensure that UPPSFE is still loaded before any network ist started
(e.g. it could be the first command in the AUTOEXEC.BAT).
