           Installation of the 32-bit Video Drivers for OS/2  2.0:
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
    MEMO TO USERS:  IBM ServicePak XR06055 is needed to run 32-bit for 2.0.

1)  Open an OS/2 Window.

2)  From the Root Directory (C:\), Enter MD OS2_32B to make a sub-directory
    named OS2_32B for the OS/2 32-bit Video Drivers.

3)  From the Root Directory (C:\), Enter CD\OS2_32B to change to the 
    sub-directory OS2_32B.

4)  Insert the Upgrade Video Drivers Diskette into Diskette Drive A:.

5)  From the C:\OS2_32B sub-directory, Enter COPY A:OS2_32B.EXE to copy  
    the Self-Extracting Video Drivers file.

6)  Enter OS2_32B -D to self-extract the Video Drivers and build the 
    associated sub-directories.

7)  From the Root Directory (C:\), Enter CD\OS2\DLL to change to the 
    sub-directory \OS2\DLL.

8)  Enter COPY DISPLAY.DLL IBMVGA.DLL /B to save a copy of the original 
    Driver Link Library.

9)  Enter E CONFIG.SYS from the Root Directory to modify the CONFIG.SYS file.

10) Search for the line DEVICE=C:\OS2\MDOS\VVGA.SYS and Insert REM to the
    front to REMark it out:  
	REM DEVICE=C:\OS2\MDOS\VVGA.SYS.

11) Add the following line right after the above line:
	DEVICE=C:\OS2\MDOS\CLVSVGA.SYS.

12) Modify the LIBPATH to add the following directory as the first entry:
	C:\CL32DRV.

13) Execute the Device Driver Installation Utility by Clicking on 
    "System Setup" and then "Device Driver Installation".

14) Set the "Source Directory" to C:\OS2_32B.  Click on "Install".

15) Choose one of the following Video Drivers:

	-  640 x 480 x 256, 60Hz
	-  640 x 480 x 256, 72Hz
	-  800 x 600 x 256, 56Hz
	-  800 x 600 x 256, 60Hz
	-  800 x 600 x 256, 72Hz
	- 1024 x 768 x 256, 43Hz
	- 1024 x 768 x 256, 60Hz
	- 1024 x 768 x 256, 70Hz
	- 1024 x 768 x 256, 72Hz

16) Click on "OK".  Click on "Exit".  ("Destination Directory" is
    intentionally left blank)

17) Shutdown the system and Reboot to install the new Video Driver.

    WARNING:  Make sure the Monitor Type supports the Video Driver    
	      Resolution/Font Size/Colors and Frequency.
   
    If the system starts to boot OS/2 and the Video is distorted, i.e.
    the Video has horizontal lines moving through it, then the monitor
    does not support either the Resolution/Font Size/Colors or Frequency.
    Boot from the OS/2 Installation Diskettes.  From the C:\OS2\DLL 
    sub-directory, Enter COPY IBMVGA.DLL DISPLAY.DLL.  Boot OS/2 and 
    repeat steps 1-17.
