ReadMe File for the Mainboard Patch Program (Windows 9x)
Version 2.6

I. Introduction
================
In Windows 98/95, some devices from the newer chipsets mainboards
cannot be correctly recognised and the drivers for these devices
were not included too. So after installation of the Windows 9x,
there will always be a QUESTION MARK next to these unrecognised
devices. Indicating that the the driver is not installed or the
device is not working properly.

*** Windows 95 Unrecognised devices are:

Intel 430TX, 440LX/EX, 440BX chipsets:
82439TX, 82443LX/EX/BX Host to PCI Bridge
Intel 82443LX/EX/BX Pentium(R) II Processor to AGP Controller
   82371xB Power Management Controller
   82371xB PCI to ISA Bridge
82371xB PCI to USB Universal Host Controller

VIA / AMD-640 chipsets:

   SiS 5595 Power Management Controller
SiS 5595 PCI to ISA Bridge

*** Windows 98 Unrecognised devices are:

VIA V82C691/V82C692/V82C693 Host to PCI Bridge
VIA V82C691/V82C692/V82C693 Host to AGP Controller
VIA V82C596 PCI to ISA Bridge
   VIA V82C596 Power Management Controller
SiS 530 Host to PCI Bridge
SiS 5600 Host to PCI Bridge

The problem is that Windows 9x, were released before the newer
chipsets hit the market. So these earlier version of the OS,
do not have the correct drivers information build-in. In order
to resolve this problem, we are offering this patch program,
to allow Windows 95 to correctly detect the devices. After
installing this program, you will find that both of these
devices show they are working properly.
