  Description:           Dials telephone number according to any
                         modifiers included in the string

          D""            Alphanumeric dialing switch; when a command like
                         this is entered: ATDT1888"KICKME1", the modem
    (double quotes)      changes the alpha characters into numbers;
                         except for Q and Z.

                         string.
