                                 CD SIGNAL

  Description:   Controls the behaviour of the Carrier Detect signal.

                               CLOCK SOURCE

                                CTS SIGNAL

  Description:   Controls the behaviour of the Clear to Send signal.

                                 CTS DELAY

  Description:   Sets the delay from an RTS change to a CTS change.

                   will dial.

                                DSR SIGNAL

  Description:   Controls the behaviour of the Data Set Ready signal.

      &S0         DSR forced high.

      &S1         DSR normal.

      &S2         DSR forced high except at disconnect.

      &S5         DSR forced high except at disconnect or in test mode.

                                DTR SIGNAL

  Type:          Configuration

  Format:        AT [cmds] &Dn [cmds]

  Description:   Controls the behaviour of the Data Terminal Ready
                 signal.

    Command                              Function

      &D0         DTR forced high.

      &D1         Dial the first stored number in virtual mode on high
                  DTR.

      &D2         DTR normal.

      &D3         Dial the first stored number on high DTR.

      &D4         Dial the second stored number on high DTR.

                             FRONT PANEL LOCK

  Description:   Selects whether the front panel of the DSU is locked.

      _P0         Front panel unlocked.

  Description:   Sets an ID number for multipoint applications.

                             INACTIVITY TIMER

  Description:        Sets the amount of time that the modem must be idle
                      before it will disconnect.

                                 LINE TYPE

  Description:   Selects the type of leased line the DSU is connected to.

                           LOOPBACK TEST - LOCAL

  Description:           Selects whether the DSU will respond to a
                         request from the DTE for a local loopback test.

          _A0            Deny request for local loopback test.

          _A1            Grant request for local loopback test.

  Description:           Selects whether the DSU will respond to a
                         request from the DTE for a remote loopback test.

                          LOCAL SERIAL PORT SPEED

  Description:       Sets the speed of operation for the local serial
                     port.

        %K5          Set speed to 9600bps.

        %K7          Set speed to 38.4Kbps.
