                                BREAK TYPE

  Type:            Configuration

  Format:          AT [cmds] \Kn [cmds]

  Description:     Configures action of break signal

     Command                             Function

       \K0         Online command mode enabled, do not send break to
                   remote modem.

       \K1         Break sent to remote modem and buffered cleared.

       \K2         Online command mode enabled, do not send break to
                   remote modem.

       \K3         Send break to remote modem immediately.

       \K4         Online command mode enabled, do not send break to
                   remote modem.

       \K5         Send break with transmitted data.

                                 CALLBACK

  Type:                  Configuration

  Format:                AT [cmds] *Pn:xxxx:<#>

  Description:           Stores the information for callback number n.
                         When enabled, the modem will call back the phone
                         number indicated and request the matching
                         password.

                         CELLULAR DRIVER DOWNLOAD

  Type:           Immediate

  Description:    Initiates an ASCII transfer of a new cellular phone
                  driver.

                        CELLULAR DRIVER INFORMATION

  Description:      Displays information about the currently loaded
                    cellular phone driver.

                           CELLULAR PHONE STATUS

                               CONNECT MODE

  Description:     Controls the type of connection the modem will connect
                   with.

     Command                              Function

       \N0         Modem will connect in normal mode.

       \N1         Modem will connect in normal mode.

       \N2         Modem will attempt V.42bis mode, then MNP mode, then
                   hang up.

       \N3         Modem will attempt V.42bis mode, then MNP mode, then
                   normal mode.

       \N4         Modem will attempt V.42bis mode, then hang up.

       \N5         Modem will attempt MNP mode, then hang up.

                              DCE LINE SPEED

  Description:         Sets the maximum allowable data exchange rate
                       attempted during handshake process.

        S37=0          Speed of last connection.

        S37=1          Maximum speed set to 300bps.

        S37=2          Maximum speed set to 300bps.

        S37=3          Maximum speed set to 300bps.

        S37=5          Maximum speed set to 1200bps.

        S37=6          Maximum speed set to 2400bps.

        S37=7          Maximum speed set to 1200/75bps.

        S37=8          Maximum speed set to 4800bps.

        S37=9          Maximum speed set to 9600bps.

       S37=10          Maximum speed set to 12Kbps.

                                   DIAL

  Type:                  Immediate

  Format:                AT [cmds] D<#> [cmds]

  Description:           Dials telephone number according to any
                         modifiers included in the string.

  Note:                  Any combination of modifiers can be used to
                         produce the desired dial functions in sequence.

        Command                              Function

           DJ            MNP10 link will be negotiated at 1200bps for
                         this call.

           DK            MNP10 power level adjustment enabled for this
                         call.

           DL            Re-dial last number.

           DP            Dial following digits in pulse mode.

          DS=n           Dial stored telephone number n.

           DT            Dial following digits in tone mode.

           DW            Dialing resumed following dial tone detection.

           D,            Dialing paused for amount of time specified in
                         S8 register.

         D"WXY"          Optional method of denoting telephone numbers.
                         Letters enclosed in quotes are interpreted as
                         numbers according to the system found on a
                         telephone keypad.

           D!            Flash function initiated. Modem commanded to go
                         off-hook for specified time before returning
                         on-hook.

           D@            Wait for Quiet Answer function enabled. Modem
                         waits until a "quiet answer," a ring-back signal
                         followed by silence up to the time specified in
                         S7, is received prior to executing the rest of
                         the dial string.

                               DIAL (CONT)

       D&         Wait for AT&T credit card ("bong") tone detection
                  function enabled. Waits for bong tone for amount of
                  time specified by the S7 command.

       D$         Wait for prompt tone detection function enabled. Waits
                  for prompt tone for amount of time specified by the S7
                  command.

       D^         Toggles calling tone on or off for this call.

       D>         Sends grounding pulse on EARTH relay line.

       D;         Modem returned to idle state after dialing. The
                  semicolon can only be placed at the end of the dial
                  command.

                          DISPLAY STORED NUMBERS

  Type:          Immediate

  Format:        AT [cmds] \F [cmds]

  Description:   Displays all stored numbers.

                              PROTOCOL/SPEED

  Type:             Configuration

  Format:           AT [cmds] Fn [cmds]

  Description:      Selects the protocol and speed the modem will attempt
                    to connect at.

        F0          Auto-detect the highest common connect speed.

        F1          Select V.21 or Bell 103 at 300bps speed.

        F3          Select V.23 at 75/1200bps speed.

        F4          Select V.22 at 1200bps speed.

        F5          Select V.22bis at 2400bps speed.

        F6          Select V.32/V.32bis at 4800bps speed.

        F7          Select V.32bis at 7200bps speed.

        F8          Select V.32bis/V.32 at 9600bps speed.

        F9          Select V.32bis at 12Kbps speed.

  Description:   Ends the current remote configuration session.

                       REMOTE CONFIGURATION PASSWORD

  Description:           Stores the password that must be sent by a
                         remote modem to enter a remote configuration
                         session on the local modem.

                       REMOTE CONFIGURATION REQUEST

                   configuration session.
