  Description:           Changes connection password number n. n must be
                         between 0 and 4. The password must be between 6
                         and 12 characters. If no callback number is
                         supplied, the modem will check for a password
                         but will not perform a callback.

  Description:            Dials the telephone number indicated according
                          to any modifiers included in the string.

        Command                              Function

           DJ             MNP10 link will be negotiated at 1200bps for
                          this call.

           DK             MNP10 power level adjustment enabled for this
                          call.

           DL             Re-dial last number.

           DP             Pulse dialing enabled.

          DS=n            Dial stored telephone number n.

           DT             Tone dialing enabled.

           DW             Dialing resumed following dial tone detection.

           D,             Dialing paused for amount of time specified in
                          S8 register.

           D!             Flash function initiated. Modem commanded to go
                          off-hook for specified time before returning
                          on-hook.

           D@             Wait for Quiet Answer function enabled. Modem
                          waits until a "quiet answer," a ring-back
                          signal followed by silence up to the time
                          specified in S7, is received prior to executing
                          the rest of the dial string.

           D;             Modem returned to idle state after dialing. The
                          semicolon can only be placed at the end of the
                          dial command.

  Description:           Defines the character that, when sent four times
                         within the guard time set by S12, will notify
                         the remote modem that a remote configuration

                         disables the remote configuration character.

                         REMOTE CONFIGURATION EXIT

  Description:   Exits remote configuration mode.

            REMOTE CONFIGURATION SECURITY - PASSWORD SELECTION

  Description:           Changes the password for remote configuration.
                         The user will be prompted to enter the old and
                         new passwords. Passwords must be exactly five
                         characters, case insensitive.

                       REMOTE CONFIGURATION REQUEST

  Format:                AT [cmds] *R [cmds]

  Description:           Requests to begin a remote configuration session
                         with the remote modem.

  Note:                  The same function may be accomplished by sending
                         the remote configuration character four times
                         within the guard time set by register S202.

                      Proprietary V.25bis Command Set

                                AT COMMAND

  Type:           Immediate

  Format:         CNL[cmds]

  Description:    Executes an AT command string. The AT should not be
                  included.

                 CALL REQUESTED NUMBER WITH IDENTIFICATION

  Type:                   Immediate

  Format:                 CRI<#>;xxxx

  Description:            Dials the number given; it will ignore spaces
                          and hyphens in the string; if the string is
                          more than fifty characters long, a result of
                          INV will be returned. The xxxx parameter is
                          ignored.

                          REQUEST LISTED NUMBERS

  Type:                   Immediate

  Format:                 RLN

  Description:            Requests the modem to return the list of stored
                          numbers; if no numbers are stored, the modem
                          will return LSN.
