                          COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS

  Description:    Selects the communication protocol for low-speed data
                  calls.

       B1         Modem will use Bell 212A at 1200bps.

       B2         Modem will use ITU-T V.23 at 1200/75bps.

                       DISPLAY CELLULAR INFORMATION

  Description:           Displays information about the current cellular
                         connection.

  Note:                  This command will only function if the attached
                         cellular phone is manufactured by Motorola.

          &I0             Displays received signal strength.

          &I1             Displays the service provider of the currently
                          locked-on cell.

          &I2             Displays your chosen home service provider.

                            DISPLAY INFORMATION

                    MAXIMUM BLOCK SIZE FOR TRANSMISSION

  Description:   Sets the maximum transmittable block size in MNP mode.

  Description:   Selects whether the modem's THR FIFO will be used.

                             V.32 AUTO-RETRAIN

  Description:     Controls auto-retrain function if poor line quality is
                   detected.
