                         Proprietary AT Command Set

                                   DIAL

  Type:                  Immediate

  Format:                AT [cmds] D<#>;[cmds]

  Description:           Dials the telephone number indicated according
                         to any modifiers included in the string.

        Command                              Function

           DL            Re-dial last number.

           DP            Pulse dialing enabled.

          DS=n           Dial stored telephone number n.

           DT            Tone dialing enabled.

           DV            Dial the number specified in speakerphone mode.

           DW            Dialing resumed following dial tone detection.

           D,            Dialing paused for amount of time specified in
                         S8 register.

           D!            Flash function initiated. Modem commanded to go
                         off-hook for specified time before returning
                         on-hook.

           D@            Wait for Quiet Answer function enabled. Modem
                         waits until a "quiet answer," a ring-back signal
                         followed by silence up to the time specified in
                         S7, is received prior to executing the rest of
                         the dial string.

           D$            Wait for prompt tone detection function enabled.
                         Waits for prompt tone for amount of time
                         specified by the S7 command.

           D^            Calling tone disabled for this call.

           D;            Modem returned to idle state after dialing. The
                         semicolon can only be placed at the end of the
                         dial command.

                         DISPLAY BLACKLIST NUMBERS

  Description:           Displays the list of all the numbers on the
                         blacklist. Returns ERROR if blacklisting is
                         disabled.

  Description:   Selects the communication protocol the modem will use.

       B3        Modem will use ITU-T V.23 at 75/1200bps.

      B16        Modem will use Bell 103J at 300bps.

                               RETRAIN MODE

  Description:         Selects whether the modem is allowed to perform
                       retrains and fall-forward/fallback sequences.

        S42=0          Retrain and fall-forward/fallback sequences
                       disabled.

        S42=1          Retrain and fall-forward/fallback sequences
                       enabled.

  Range:                  0, 5 - 255

  Unit:                   1 second

  Description:            Maximum duration of command mode inactivity
                          allowed prior to the modem entering standby
                          mode. A value of 0 disables this feature, and
                          values of 1 through 4 set S89=5.

                             V.25 CALLING TONE

  Type:           Configuration

  Format:         AT [cmds] -Cn [cmds]

  Description:    Selects whether the modem will transmit a V.25 calling
                  tone.

    Command                              Function

      -C0         V.25 calling tone disabled.

      -C1         V.25 calling tone enabled.

                             V.25 CALLING TONE

  Type:           Register

  Format:         AT [cmds] S35=n [cmds]

  Description:    Selects whether the modem will transmit a V.25 calling
                  tone.

    Command                              Function

     S35=0        V.25 calling tone disabled.

     S35=1        V.25 calling tone enabled.

                            V.32bis TRAIN MODE

  Type:                   Register

  Format:                 AT [cmds] S43=n [cmds]

  Description:            Selects whether the modem will perform a rate
                          training sequence after connecting to the
                          remote modem in V.32bis mode.

        Command                              Function

         S43=0            Rate training sequence enabled.

         S43=1            Rate training sequence disabled.

                                 V.34 MODE

  Type:               Register

  Format:             AT [cmds] S28=n [cmds]

  Description:        Selects whether the modem will attempt to connect
                      with the V.34 modulation.

  Note:               All values greater than 1 are equivalent to S28=1.

       S28=0          V.34 modulation disabled.

       S28=1          V.34 modulation enabled.

                              VOICE LOOPBACK

  Type:          Immediate
