  Description:      Controls V.34 baud rate and V.34 asymmetric mode.

     Bit       Value                        Function

    2 - 0         000   V.34 mode may use 2400 baud rate only.

                  001   V.34 mode may use 2400 baud rate only.

                  010   V.34 mode may use 2400 or 2800 baud rates.

                  011   V.34 mode may use 2400, 2800, or 3000 baud rates.

                  100   V.34 mode may use 2400, 2800, 3000, or 3200 baud
                        rates.
                 101
                        V.34 mode may use 2400, 2800, 3000, 3200, or 3429
                        baud rates.

      3             0   V.34 asymmetric mode disabled.

                   1    V.34 asymmetric mode enabled.

                             DISTINCTIVE RING

  Range:              0 - 7

  Description:        Selects which distinctive ring signals the modem
                      will respond to.

      0              0   Do not respond to distinctive ring type 1.

                    1    Respond to distinctive ring type 1.

      1              0   Do not respond to distinctive ring type 2.

                    1    Respond to distinctive ring type 2.

      2              0   Do not respond to distinctive ring type 3.

                             FIRMWARE DOWNLOAD

  Description:     Downloads new code to the firmware flash memory in
                   ASCII format.

                               MNP10EC MODE

  Type:               Configuration

  Format:             AT [cmds] -SEC=m,n [cmds]

  Description:        Selects whether the modem will attempt to use
                      MNP10EC mode during the handshaking sequence.

       Command                             Function

         m=0          MNP10EC handshaking disabled unless a V.34
                      connection is attempted via a cellular line.

        -m=1          MNP10EC handshaking enabled.

          n           Default:             Unidentified

                      Range:               -10 to -30

                      Unit:                -1 dBm

                      Description:         Sets the initial transmission
                                           level.
