                         Proprietary AT Command Set

                            AUTO-MODE DETECTION

  Type:                  Configuration

  Format:                AT [cmds] Nn [cmds]

  Description:           Selects various options for the automatic
                         detection and negotiation of protocols during
                         the handshake process if the modem is
                         communicating with a remote modem of dissimilar
                         speed.

          N0             Auto-mode detection disabled

          N1             Auto-mode detection enabled

                            BLACKLISTED NUMBERS

  Type:                  Immediate

  Format:                AT [cmds] *B [cmds]

  Description:           Sends the list of blacklisted numbers to the
                         DTE. If no numbers are blacklisted, the OK
                         result code is sent

                           DATA SET READY (DSR)

  Type:          Configuration

  Format:        AT [cmds] &Sn [cmds]

  Description:   Selects DSR options

                                     DATA TERMINAL READY (DTR)

  Description:              Selects modem response to DTR

         Command 3          Modem is initialized after DTR goes off

         Command 4          Modem goes to command mode and disconnects (hangs up) after DTR goes
                            off.

                                   DIAL

  Type:                  Immediate

  Format:                AT [cmds] D<#> [cmds]

  Description:           Dials telephone number according to any
                         modifiers included in the string

  Note:                  Any combination of modifiers can be used to
                         produce the desired dial functions in sequence.

          0-9            Dialing digits

    A, B, C, D, *, #     Tone dial characters

           P             Pulse dial

           R             Reverse originate mode

          S=n            Dial NVRAM telephone number

           T             Tone dial

           W             Wait for dial tone

           ,             Pause

           !             Flash hook, modem goes on hook for .75 seconds

           @             Wait for quiet answer

           ^             Disable data calling tone for a single call
                         origination

           ;             Modem returned to idle state after dialing. The
                         semicolon can only be placed at the end of the
                         dial command

       -( ) space        Ignored by modem. The modem ignores these
                         characters, but they can be included in the dial
                         string for separation purposes





















                               FLOW CONTROL

  Description:   Enables flow control options

                                GUARD TONE

  Description:    Commands the modem to transmit a guard tone in
                  V.22/V.22bis

            Note: Used primarily for international data transmission

                            REPORT INFORMATION

  Description:          Displays information requested

          I1            Calculates and verifies the ROM checksum

          I2            Calculates and compares the ROM checksum with the
                        pre-stored checksum

          I3            Reports the firmware version, basic model,
                        application code, and interface type code

          I4            Reports OEM defined identifier string in either
                        Hayes-compatible binary format or ASCII format

          I5            Reports country code

          I6            Reports modem data pump model and internal code
                        revision
