                         PROPRIETARY AT COMMAND SET

                            COMMUNICATIONS MODE

  Type:            Configuration

  Description:     Selects communications mode options

     Command                                Mode

       &Q0         Asynchronous mode, serial port speed follows connect
                   speed.

       &Q1         Asynchronous off-line command mode and synchronous
                   connect mode.

                          CONFIGURATION PROFILES

  Type:                  Immediate

  Description:           Displays active and stored configuration
                         profiles

          &V0            Displays active configuration, stored profiles 0
                         and 1, and directory numbers and the first 3
                         stored phone numbers

          &V1            Displays stored profiles 2 and 3 as well as the
                         first 4 stored phone numbers

          &V2            Displays stored profiles and directory numbers
                         as well as the first 5 stored phone numbers

                           DATA SET READY (DSR)

  Type:          Configuration

  Description:   Selects DSR options

  Description:           Dials telephone number according to any
                         modifiers included in the string

  Note:                  Any combination of modifiers can be used to
                         produce the desired dial functions in sequence.

          DP             Pulse dialing enabled

          DR             Answer mode enabled; originate mode disabled
                         following handshake initiation.

         DS=n            Dial stored telephone number n

          DT             Tone dialing enabled/Pulse dialing disabled

          DW             Dialing resumed following dial tone detection

          D,             Dialing paused for amount of time specified in
                         S8 register

          D=             Dialing paused for amount of time specified in
                         S8 register

          D!             Flash function initiated. Modem commanded to go
                         off-hook for specified time before returning
                         on-hook.

          D@             Wait for Quite Answer function enabled. Modem
                         waits until a "quiet answer," a ring-back signal
                         followed by silence up to the time specified in
                         S7, is received prior to executing the rest of
                         the dial string.

          D&             Dialing paused for 5seconds before modem dials
                         the digits following modifier

          D^             Calling tone disabled

          D/             Delays 125 ms. Before proceeding with dial
                         string

          DV             Voice mode enabled

          D;             Modem returned to idle state after dialing. The
                         semicolon can only be placed at the end of the
                         dial command.

          DI             ISDN data communication enabled (overrides value
                         set by %O)

          DM             Modem over voice ISDN data communication enabled
                         (overrides value set by %O)

                          FACTORY DEFAULT PROFILE

  Type:             Configuration

  Description:      Sets values in active profile to values found in the
                    default profile

                           VOICE CALL ACCEPTANCE

  Description:           Determines the type of voice call accepted

          *E0            Voice call will be accepted only if incoming
                         call has the SPEECH capability set.

          *E1            Voice call will be accepted only if the incoming
                         call has the 3.1kHz capability set.

          *E2            Voice call will be accepted only if the incoming
                         call has the SPEECH or 3.1kHz capability set.

                               VOICE DIALING

  Description:        Dials a voice call
