                         Proprietary AT Command Set

                            AUTO-MODE DETECTION

  Type:                  Configuration

  Format:                AT [cmds] Nn [cmds]

  Description:           Selects various options for the automatic
                         detection and negotiation of protocols during
                         the handshake process if the modem is
                         communicating with a remote modem of dissimilar
                         speed.

                          CONFIGURATION PROFILES

  Description:           Displays active and stored configuration
                         profiles

          &V1            Diagnostics: RBS counter shows number of least
                         significant bits robbed per three bytes. Digital
                         pad detection determines if a digital pad was
                         encountered and if so, the digital loss.

                           DATA SET READY (DSR)

  Description:           Controls the V.42bis data compression function

                         by the remote DEC as specified in the direction
                         parameter

           y=            Specifies the maximum number of dictionary
                         entries which should be negotiated (Range =
                         512-65535)

           z=            Specifies the maximum string length to be
                         negotiated (Range = 6-250, Default = 6)

                          FLOW CONTROL THRESHOLDS

  Type:                  Configuration

  Format:                AT [cmds] +ITF

  Description:           Allows the DTE to determine the input buffer
                         size in the DCE for data on curcuit 103 from the
                         DTE. To control the thresholds used for flow
                         control of such data, and to control how often
                         the DCE reports to the DTE the number of octets
                         in this buffer.

                             SELECTIVE REPEAT

  Type:            Configuration

  Format:          AT [cmds] +ESR=n [cmds]

  Description:     Controls the selective repeat

     Command                              Function

       n=0         Do not use SREJ

       n=1         Use SREJ if available in remote DCE; continue without
                   it if not



































                          SYNCHRONOUS ACCESS MODE

  Description:          Enables synchronous access mode

          x=1            Initiate call with buffered mode only

                        buffered made flow with flow control during
                        non-error-control operation

                        line rate and use direct mode

                        established, disconnect

                        SYNCHRONOUS ACCESS SUBMODE

  Type:                 Configuration

  Description:          Controls the operation of the synchronous access
                        mode in the DCE

       Command                              Function

         s=0            In transparent sub-mode, modem transmits 8-bit
                        SYN sequence on idle. Modem receiver does not
                        hunt for synchronized sequence.

         S=1            In transparent sub-mode, DCE trtansmits 8-bit SYN
                        sequence on idle. DCE receiver hunts for 8-bit
                        SYN sequence

         s=2            In transparent sub-mode, DCE transmits 16-bit SYN
                        sequence on idle. DCE receiver hunts for 16-bit
                        SYN sequence

         t=0            In framed sub-mode, modem transmits HDLC flags on
                        idle.

         T=1            In framed sub-mode, the DCE transmits marks (one
                        bits)

         u=0            In framed sub-mode, modem transmits abort on
                        underrun in middle of frame

         u=1            In framed sub-mode, DCE transmits HDLC flag on
                        underrun during a frame

         v=0            When switching between primary and secondary
                        channel operation in V.34 half duplex, the DCE
                        only executes those procedures defined in section
                        12/V.34

         v=1            When switching between primary and secondary
                        channel operation in V.34 half duplex, the DCE
                        executes additional procedures as described in
                        section 8.8.5 besides those defined in section
                        12/V.34

         w=0            CRC generation and checking disabled

         w=1            In framed sub-mode, the 16-bit CRC is generated
                        by the DCE in the transmit direction, and checked
                        by the DCE in the receive direction

         w=2            In framed sub-mode, the 32-bit CRC is generated
                        by the DCE in the transmit direction, and checked
                        by the DCE in the receive direction

         x=0            NRZI encoding and decoding disabled

         x=1            NRZI encoding enabled in the DCE in the transmit
                        direction, and NRZI decoding in the DCE in the
                        receive direction

         y=1            In framed mode, the 16-bit CRC is generated by
                        the modem in the transmit direction, and checked
                        by the modem in the receive direction

          z=            Reserved
