settings on the BE2000.

Once you start BENCFG, the main menu options are as follows:

Automatic Configuration
-----------------------
This option inspects your system and configures the BE2000
to a recommended setting.

Address I/O Port
----------------
Sets the Address I/O port for the BE2000

IRQ
---
Sets the IRQ

Boot ROM
--------
Allows you to set the Boot ROM size and settings.

Connection Type

Standard Settings
-----------------
Allows you to select an Address I/O port and an IRQ
simultaneously

Diagnostics
-----------
Performs a non-violate memory test. This is the memory where
your configuration is stored.

This also performs an internal loopback test.

Update NET.CFG file
-------------------
For Novell users, this option creates a NET.CFG file with
the selected settings. The old NET.CFG, if any, is saved as
NET.BEN

Save Changes & Exit
-------------------
Writes the Modified Settings to the BE2000.

Exit without Saving
-------------------
Exits BENCFG without saving any changes.

Note that BENCFG verifies your IRQ and Address I/O
selections. To disable this feature, start BENCFG with the
/M switch.

The Green LED will be ON when the BNC is connected and terminated
    properly and not receiving data.

The Green LED will blink when the BNC is not connected or terminated
    properly, or when receiving data.
