For more detailled information please refer to DATSCRN.DOC

     1. The purpose of the programme:
E-mail freeware tool for all sysops who want to present their
users with 'every day' welcome messages (ANSI/ASCII) or like to
present an online 'calendar' (even with 'Just XYZ days till
next millenium'). English documentation and cfg with lots of
comments. Takes advantage of special RA features but works
with any BBS programme that supports ANSI/ASCII files (e.g.
LORA, Maximus, SBBS). Can release timeslices, can run in
     different tasks, logfile etc.

     2. Installation:
Simply unpack the ZIP file into a suitable directory, e.g.
     C:\RA\TOOLS\DATSCRN
DATSCRN doesn't require its own directory but work is easier
     this way :-)
To work on its config file either rename example.cfg to
datscrn.cfg and then either run DATSCRN /SETUP or edit it with
any ASCII editor or simply type in setup after unzipping the
     archive.
You are strongly adivised to edit the *.txt files (although
they are prepared for usage in English speaking countries) to
make them fit your needs and ideas.

     3. The status of the programme:
DATSCRN is e-mail freeware. This means you only have to write
an e-mail (or FTS style netmail) to the author to obtain your
personal key. There is a test key included so you can (without
any time limits) test all of DATSCRN's features.

     4. The distribution status of the programme:
DATSCRN can be freely distributed. You are welcome to upload
it to any BBS, ftp or WWW site. It may be distributed on CD or
     tape as well.
