      Welcome to the CPRIMES!! readme file.  This file contains various
  information about the programs and trys to answer any questions the user
                                   may have.

-=PURPOSE=-
        Primes was written with the intention of introducing new programmers
to C/C++ programming.  It also serves a useful purpose by finding prime
numbers.  The source code is included with each program so that the user may
better understand the program.

        These programs are to be used at your own risk.  The author takes no
responsibility as to the actions of these programs.  These programs were not
intended to cause harm or otherwise to any computing system.  I

-=INSTALLATION=-
        Copy the Compressed archive to any directory and run PKZIP or
some other archiver to Unompress the file.  The user is not required to
run an installation program.


-=SYSTEM REQUIRMENTS=-
CPU:  80286/80386/80486/ or higher system.
RAM:  About 400k of Conventional memory or more.
FLOPPY Drive or HARD DISK Drive:  About 100k of Free Space.

Basically these programs will run on just about any system that can run DOS.


-=HOW TO RUN THE PROGRAM(S)=-

PRIME.EXE
Read: PRIME.TXT for more information.
Goto the dos prompt and change to the directory where the program is
located.  Type "PRIME.EXE" (without the quotes) and enter an interger no
larger than 4,294,967,295 and the program will determine whether the number
is prime or not.  Methods for determining prime numbers are described in
"PRIME.TXT".

SIEVE.EXE
READ: SIEVE.TXT BEFORE operating!
Goto the dos prompt and change to the directory where the program is
located.  Type "SIEVE.EXE" (without the quotes).  BEFORE RUNNING SIEVE:
You must have the file called "PRIMES.LST".  This file should have come with
the distribution and contains a list of the first 32 primes.  You cannot run
sieve without the list.  If the list did not come with the distribution you
can contact the author or read the SIEVE user documentation (SEIVE.TXT)
section about creating a primes list.  Other information about SIEVE.EXE is
contained in the "SIEVE.TXT" textfile.

PRIMLIST.EXE
READ: PRIMLIST.TXT BEFORE operating!
Goto the dos prompt and change to the directory where the program is
located.  Type "PRIMLIST.EXE" (without the quotes).  BEFORE RUNNING
PRIMLIST.EXE:  You must have a copy of the file named "LASTPRIM.LST". Without
this file PRIMLIST.EXE will not function properly.  For more information
about PRIMLIST.EXE read the text file entitled "PRIMLIST.TXT".


-=DISTRUBITION=-
        These programs are distrubted as freeware and can be
redistrubed/copied freely without the authors permission.  The author does
ask that the file be distrubted in the original compressed file.  Please do
not alter or tamper with the code or executable files in any way.  The author
will not take responsibility for altered distributions of his work.
