To install QLIB you need to do the following:

Please read _all_ information in this file to fully understand how to
install QLIB. Otherwise you will not be able to install QLIB.

Please read "update.txt" if you are updating your copy of QLIB.

QLIB installation:
Simply run INSTALL.BAT for more help.

PMODE/W installation:
  1) Install PMODE/W into its own directory (c:\pmodew).
  2) Copy PMODE/W files into QLIB's \bin directory:
    COPY PM*.* C:\QLIB\BIN
You can get PMODE/W from my homepage or on the PMODE/W homepage, see the
"links" section on my homepage. The current version as of this writing
is v1.33. QLIB requires PMODE/W v1.31 or better.

WDOSX installation:
  1) Install WDOSX into its own directory (c:\wdosx).
  1) Extract the EXE out of STUBIT.EXE:
    STUBIT -extract
  2) Copy WDOSXLE.EXE which was just extracted from STUBIT.EXE and place
     it into QLIB's \bin directory:
    COPY WDOSXLE.EXE C:\QLIB\BIN

Watcom LNK info:
The LNK info for all three DOS extender (WDOSX, PMODE/W and DOS/4GW)
are all placed into QLIB's LNK file. So this info is no longer needed
in your Watcom .LNK file (as it use to be). Note that if it is in your
Watcom .LNK file you will get a warning which you can ignore. I suggest
you remove them from your Watcom LNK file.

Notes:
The file NEWVARS.BAT will be extracted from QLIB.ZIP.
Edit it to make sure the first SET points to your installation dir.
Then run this file each time you use QLIB or add it to your AUTOEXEC.BAT
  file.

When ever downloading QLIB add-ons please download them into your
Downloading Directory, then unzip them into a Temporary Directory
and from there follow the directions in the "install.txt" file.

Make sure your path also points to all your compilers.

Make sure to read all the help files in the \help directory within QLIB for
lots of help. These help files are now available in two formats:
    \help\html - HTML formatted help
    \help\txt - TXT formatted help

There is also a lot of examples in the \samples and \test if you need more
  help.
