    This file vendor.doc contains the rules for the distribution of
    the Cde program for vendors, bulletin boards and others.

      #1 Distribution with a modem (bbs):
      #2 Distribution floppy disks and cd-roms:
      #3 Bundling, distribution with computers cd-rom drives e.a.
      #4  Address author.

 ==== # 1 ===================================================================
      Distribution with a modem:

      It's permitted to distribute Cde on bulletin boards only
      if all the cde files are present without any changes.

      If the costs for a download are higher then the normal
      telephone costs (commercial bulletin boards), the following
      information should be present for your down loaders.

      A: That cde is a Shareware program.

      B: On line information available about the Shareware concept.

 ==== # 2 ===================================================================
      Distribution floppy disks and cd-roms:

      Shareware distributors and others may distribute Cde if
      the next points are met.

      A: The date of the Cde package should be not older then
         six month, if older, contact the author for a newer release.

      B: The shareware concept must be explained on disk or otherwise,
         so your buyers now Cde is a (try) shareware version.

      C: You may not charge anything for the program Cde.

      D: All the cde files are present without any changes.

      If you use your own installation procedure it may not reside
      in the Cde directory.

      Authors request:
      If you distribute Cde in cd-rom or floppy please send a
      copy (for my collection) to the address below at # 4.

      Tips for Cd-roms:
      If you place in every directory a cde_dif.inf file (you can do
      this with Cdeline.exe or Cde) the users of Cde can have complete
      and accurate information of your product.
      (See cde's help file)

 ==== # 3 ===================================================================
      Bundling, distribution with computers cd-rom drives e.a.

      This is permitted if:

      A: All the cde files are present without any changes.

      B: You notify the author by mail that you use the program
         Cde for bundling.

      C: If Cde resides on a hard disk, you must allow the users
         to unpack and install Cde with a batch file so the evaluation
         period starts only after the user installs Cde.
