   SEEKER\SOUNDS.ZIP              10882 - Example Sound Files
   SOUNDS.ZIP is NOT an official part of SEEKER.ZIP. It is included
   to give you example sound files only.

If your running through DOS:
 2. Type CD SEEKER
 3. Type SEEKER
If your running through Windows:
 2. Open the SEEKER folder
 3. Click on the SEEKER icon

         You will then see the initial intro and a message saying:
                 'Command File Absent - Generating Default'

         This sets up the default buttons and will get you started.

                         SEEKER is now operational

                >>>  To EXIT SEEKER press the ESC key <<<

If you want to launch SEEKER from ANY drive or directory make sure
that either:
 1. The path to Seeker has been added to your path in AUTOEXEC.BAT.
 2. Type in the full path to the directory where Seeker has been installed.


For HELP on what each part of SEEKER does:
------------------------------------------
Move the mouse pointer over the area you want help for, press (and hold)
the CTRL KEY and then click on the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON (and hold).
This will give a brief description of what the item is used for.

Example Buttons - (Black Button & White Text)
---------------------------------------------
Some examples on how to set up buttons using different launch options.
Press and hold the CTRL KEY and the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON for a description of
what the command does and what the configuration is for.
(NOTE: These are examples only. They don't do anything & can be edited)

To see the contents of a directory in the List Box (Text is blue):
------------------------------------------------------------------
Click on it twice (quickly) and its contents will be displayed.
(to go back a directory press (<-) backspace)

To run a program listed in a List Box (Text is black):
------------------------------------------------------
Click it once (it will highlight) and then click on the RUN button.

To set up your own buttons:
---------------------------
If you want to attach a program to a button OR
If you want to attach a directory to a button:
Hold the LEFT SHIFT KEY then click on the File or Directory you want
to attach to a button.
You will be prompted with: 'Select Button for Command Insertion'
Click on a button labelled 'USER' (this means it's an unused button).
Your directory or program is now ready - click on the button.

Of course there are many more options available if you use the SEEKER EDITOR

These instructions will get you going with a minimum of fuss. Obviously
it is recommended that you aquaint yourself with the full instructions.
For those of you (like just about everybody) that hate reading through
instructions, there are QUICK STARTS for most SEEKER functions - brief
and to the point - that will get you using SEEKER functions quickly.
When you need more information - read through the rest of the relevant
section.
