                      Repair and Warranty Information

 - Your first contact for repair/warranty information is your dealer.

 - Repairs of Seagate products are handled through our dealers and
distributors. Please contact your dealer for further information
on warranty or assistance with return of product for repair.

 - If the Seagate product you own was purchased as part of a system,
your first contact for support is the system manufacturer or the
company that put the system together.

 - If you have been unsuccessful contacting your dealer or are a
direct Seagate customer, you may call the Seagate Repair Center
direct at (800) 669-5522. They can help you determine warranty
status, quote repair costs, make shipping recommendations, and
give out RMA numbers. They are not, however, set up to answer any
questions which are technical in nature.

 - Seagate does not sell spare parts nor can we send schematics.
Installation Guides and Product Manuals can be obtained through
your dealer or by contacting Seagate direct. Please also consult
other sections of this Bulletin Board for product specifications
     and installation / troubleshooting assistance.

 - If you can't determine if the operation of your Seagate Product is
correct or have other questions about the use of the product,
please contact the Seagate Telephone Technical Support group at
     (800) 468-3472. Please be patient when calling the 800 telephone
technical support number as the lines are intermittently very
     busy.

 - You may also wish to leave your name and phone number along with a
brief description of your installation and question for the
SysOp for a call back from a technician. Leave a message by
choosing the [C]omment option at the Bulletin Board Main Menu.

 - We at Seagate wish to provide the best possible support to the
owners of Seagate products and invite your comments in this area.
Use the numbers provided here, leave a message for the Bulletin
Board Manager or write to Seagate Technology at 920 Disc Dr.
