 
 
 
 In the present experiment series of numbers will be presented on the
 screen. Each string of numbers presented on one trial is called a
 positive set. Size of the positive set varies from 1 to 6 digits.
 A distinct tone will be sounded at the end of a positive set.


 
 Press 'M' to hear the tone that marks the end of the positive set.

 

 Two seconds after this tone a single digit is presented onto the
 screen. Your task is to determine whether this digit was in the

 Choice is signaled by pressing one of the two buttons.

 
 Pressing 'Q' means YES, the target number was a part of positive set.
 
 Pressing 'P' means NO, the target number wasn't a part of positive set.

 Press 'L' to hear the tone that will be sounded after errors.

 
 
 You will be given an opportunity to practice. There will be 44 practice 

 

 Press 'X' to start the practice trials or run through the instructions 
                again by pressing 'Q' and 'A'.
