* Changed status from Shareware to Freeware

* Removed Installation program

Changes for release v1.02
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
* Several improvements in the Installation program including bug fixed
  Windows 95 detection.
* Style Aids added to Installation program.
* Improved output when using the @L DOS Token.
* DCV detects hex or text better.
* Now renames same file names (changing case for example)
* Formats files in the file listing with an extention of 4 characters
  such as HTML and JAVA (Win95 users only)
* Many minor bugs taken care of in Directory Control and the
  Directory Control Configuration executables.
Changes for release v1.01
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
* Fixed problem with Moving file(s) to the same drive.

* Now deletes partially Copies or Moved destination files.

* When Moving, Doesn't delete skipped nor partially copied source files.

* Removed some forgotten BETA messages (dah!)

Problem: Over displaying the file listing by one, when: Tag-scrolling-down
		 and a quick tag-scroll-up was performed.
Solved:  Fixed.

Problem: PKZIP would run out of memory when compressing large amounts of
		 files, PKZIP's fault.
Solved: the @L DOS Token (File/Archive listing) doesn't recursively look
		 into directories any longer, instead specifies DIRECTORY\*.*

Problem: PKZIP wouldn't store path names.
Solved: Not completely solved, PKZIP will store the path names of tagged
		 items, and will store the path of sub files, but not of files
		 in subdirectories within tagged directories.

Problem: ARJ wouldn't store path names.
Solved:  Fixed.

Changes for v1.0
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
* Doesn't error-out at zero byte files when searching for text.
* Re-instates the disk-not-ready handler after dropping to dos.
* Checks for locked files with dos operations.
* Checks to see if disk is inserted with dos operations.
* Only overwrites needed drive buttons for 'Detect Drives' button.
* Updates screen correctly when specific colors are changed in
  Conf | Colors, and checks for basic color clashes.
* Mostly fixed drag-mark-scrollup bug, sometimes missed files.
* Now finds multiple words when searching for text.
* Cursor keys work correctly in Text Box's.
* Lots of cosmetic changes.
* Most of the Directory Control buttons re-arranged top to bottom.
* If neither the CD [S]ource nor the CD [T]arget buttons are ticked,
  DirCon will CD into a path deduced from the command line Text Box.
* Now saves the old Scroll Bar position, when going into a
  sub-directory by double-clicking.
* fixed bad mouse pointer bug, when the mouse happened to be pointing
  at the close button on a window, and was moved while the close button
  was re-drawing, it would sometimes stuff up the mouse pointer until
  DirCon was exited.
* Advanced Button system option added (Config | Start-Up) this puts the
  Dir Window specific buttons back below the Dir Windows.
* Installation program modified to copy PIF files into the StartMenu and/or
  the DeskTop directory of Windows 95
Changes for v0.997b
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
* Update of status bar didn't seem to update the free space of the opposite
  Dir window, now fixed

* Somehow it was possible to click each file fast enough to simulate a double
  which usually unfortunately executes a file-type operation, NASTY, now fixed.

* Fixed uncommon bug when re-reading directories, if the scroll position
  was greater than zero, and more than a page of files was deleted, and if
  any were remaining, the scroll position was incorrectly estimated,
  leading to missing or scrambled file names (sometimes :)

* Fixed Drive Detection (again!), should work in OS/2 and over networks
  assuming the disk is inserted (assuming it's a removable device).
  No need to worry about drive A and drive B.

* Quick-Dir-Swap used the first file, instead of the last clicked file.

* In DOS Options, changed [X] First Item Only, to [X] Last Clicked Only,
  after the above bug was found :)
  Its always been assumed the last clicked file was your top priority,
  and is moved to the top of the file list, for most operations.

What's the future of Directory Control?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Depending on how much money I make,
In ruff chronological order:
* Add File requesters into DOS operations, and Dir requester for lots
  of things.
  - All configuration items will be loaded off custom setup files.
  - Directories and files can be tagged, etc
* Full menu system, flexible setup.
* One by one move all possible file/dir operations into small executable's
  DirCon style. i.e. MOD players, JPG viewers. (transparent as possible)
* 256 color RGB Palette configuration.
* Going into archives would be like going into directories, with transparent
  expanding and compressing. (optional of course :)
* All hot keys will be able to handle Ctrl, Alt and Shift.
* Independent Hot Key operations (not attached to Buttons) plus
  configuration.
* More flexibility with Button Rack size and number, maybe a grid
  configuration window with moveable points.
* Drawable Buttons.
* Multiple fonts.
* A full Windows-95 32bit compliant port of DirCon.
* A full linux port (some progress already made).
* A full OS/2 port.
