Frequently Asked Questions regarding Directory Control

                              version 1.0

Q: A program is running out of memory when I run it through DirCon
A: Firstly make sure the [D]ont swap option is unticked in the DOS
   Options.
Secondly, Directory Control only takes up about 1k of memory when
dropping to DOS, there's a chance this 1k is just enough to make a
program fail, if so: try removing un-needed TSR's.

Q: When I run then quit a program run through DirCon, I'm left in DOS,
   where is DirCon?
A: Some programs are nasty to the DOS environment, and literally wipe
over the resident part of DirCon.
Its quite safe to run DirCon again if this happens.

Q: Windows brings up the following message "you cannot run this
application while another application is running in a high-res screen"
A: Ignore it, DirCon will work quite happily when you swap back to it.

Q: I execute a DOS operation, and Directory Control returns without
   running the program.
A: Tick [D]ebug in DOS Options, this will show you the operation as it
is executed, and will wait for you after the operation is completed.
You may find a range of problems such as:
   * An incorrect path is used in the 'DOS Command' Text Box.
   * The 'CD [S]ource' or 'CD [D]est' in DOS options may need to be ticked
or unticked depending on the operation.
   * The program itself may not like running through Directory Control,
it may need ALL your computers memory, or may decide Directory
Control is a TSR and not operate.
