 V1.8 IMPROVEMENTS:

NEW FEATURE, "SEEK DOUBLE" DUPLICATE OR MORE LINES IN A FILE:

This feature allows you to search a file, normally a text type file, for two
or more consecutive lines that are duplicate, in part or whole (up to 80
columns). The depth into each line for comparison is adjustable from 1 to 80
columns. See, "DOUBLE.TXT" for more information.

-----------------------------------------------
 V1.7 IMPROVEMENTS:

  1. New Feature: Search for a Text Pattern (Double View, Split Screen):

This feature (option) can be very useful when you want to compare the same
procedure, chapter, etc. in an older version of a document or source code to
the same in a new version. Due to changes in the new version, the location of
a specific procedure/s (etc.) will not be the same. This makes it difficult to
locate for comparison. See "DOUBLE.DOC" (use "VIEW-DOC") for details.
-------------------------------------------------
 V1.6 IMPROVEMENTS:

  1. New Feature: Hex mode option:

Now you can view two similar binary files in hex mode (alternate to text
mode) to see (or search for) differences. Example: Compare the MBR (Master
Boot Record) or boot sector of a hard disk/drive to that of another in order
to see the differences. Note: Another utility, "Sector Access" (see
"OTH-PGMS.DOC") can copy those sectors into a file/s.

  2. Enhancements:

A Tab command was added to the navigation commands used while viewing a
file/s which speeds up moving "down" through the file/s. NOTE: The Tab key is
Page Down X 10.

Your location (drive\path) is now displayed at the title screen.

------------------------------------------------
 V1.5 IMPROVEMENTS:

  1. NEW FEATURE (VERY USEFUL):

While "Double" viewing (or Searching), controls are available that allow you
to move only file 1 or file 2. This is a big improvement over the Shift and
Up/Dn control to move only file 2.

  2. PATH\FILENAME IS NO PROBLEM:

Using a path\filename will not corrupt the "Double" display due to the
limited space available for displaying two filenames and other information.
