                         M O V E I T !

MOVE IT! (MI.EXE) is a full-featured MSDOS file/directory manager
of exceptional power and flexibility. In addition to the usual
file management functionality, Move It! has several unique
features. GOTO allows the user to goto any directory node by
merely typing in the first few letters of the directory name,
i.e. the cursor jumps instantly to the directory without the need
to hit a cursor key (very handy if you have forgotten the
position of the directory node in the tree structure). Move It!
also allows you to move, copy or remove any directory hierarchy
(i.e. any directory branch and its subdirectories). Other
unusual features are GREP, a full implementation of the Unix text
search feature, and a powerful file find function that allows you
to view and erase files on the fly, e.g. find and erase every
occurrence of file in your subdirectory tree. This program is to
be regarded as freeware.

Note: Move It! can be used with Windows 3.1 if loaded into Main
Program Group, but since the program is not sensitive to multi-
tasking environment, the program will hang if accessing a file
opened by another program. Despite this limitation, Move It! is
a powerful program and easier to use than many mouse-based file
managers.
