This version of 3D Maker used to be the registered version but due to a lack
of registrations (partly due to me not distributing it enough)I have made it
shareware - but please remember that it is still not free and if you wish to
continue using it after a 30 day trial period you are obliged to register by
sending $15 to -

NOTE from the author (now May 97) -

I wrote this program now two years ago.... its always fun to look back on
your old programs. If I had the time I'd rewrite it in DJGPP which I'm now
using, it's written in Turbo C.... if anyone wants the source I'll give it to
them.

A few hints for using it -
* try clicking on the eyes, I don't think I ever mentioned that feature
elsewhere... but it enables you to preview the pictures
* the files in the input dir are sample input images, the ones in the output
dir are their corresponding outputs - to try and give you an idea of what
  to use
* you might notice a slight distortion near the middle in some pictures -
thats because there was some bug I never managed to fix with symmetrical
pictures, you won't get in the 'left to right' type - it's to do with how
in left to right you just go across, but with symmetrical you go in/out and
to/from the middle, and where the two meet up gets real messy

I now have an e-mail address as well, being -

michael.bevin@stonebow.otago.ac.nz

and a web page with my more recent programs is -

I hope you find this program useful, when I was really 'into' the magic eye
pictures I remember using it heaps... giving everyone personalised magic eye
Christmas Cards. While it can take a few goes to get a good looking picture,
the results can be really awesome.
