If you are reading this in Notepad, go to EDIT/WORD WRAP.

1. The purpose of the program.
This program translates decimal RGB color into hexadecimal and vice versa. What is this stuff, you ask? Let's say you want to take the background color of a web page, say "8C48D0," and you want to make an image the exact same color in Adobe Photoshop or some other graphics program. In Photoshop, you would need to enter colors with 3 numbers; each between 1 and 255. Fire up the program, input "8C48D0" and it'll translate it to "140, 72, 208" which is a cool purple color. Easy? Of course, you can do the exact opposite to arrive at a cool color for your home page backgrounds or text colors!

2. Program installation
No installation required. There's only one file; the executable. Double click on that and you're set!

3. The status of the program (Public Domain, Freeware, or Shareware).
Freeware; but please register via email to the author! Send your name, email address, country (and state, if applicable) and any suggestions to: scott@wcafe.com.

4. The distribution status of the program
Give the program to anyone you want, but please don't sell it or publish it without permission from the author! This IS copyrighted.

5. How to contact the author in the event of questions or problems.
E-mail me at scott@wcafe.com. I currently live in Oregon, but I will probably move, so no use giving that address. I will always have the above email address.

Use this program at your own legal risk; I am not responsible for any problems, nor do I guarantee product support! I'll be happy to try and help if you email me a question, though. This program was written for DOS, but it should also work in a Windows 3.X and Win95 environment.
