                     DRIVESAFE HYPERTEXT - TEXT VERSION

The TEXT version of the DriveSafe Hypertext v1.52 is now distributed
in 2 archive files named DS152T-1.ZIP and DS152T-2.ZIP.

A GUI (graphical user interface) version is also available. Look for
  the archive files DS152G-1.ZIP & DS152G-2.ZIP.

  Version 1.52t:
is a minor update to v1.51t publicly released in February 1994,
maybe replaced by v1.6 in the near future so that changes in 1994
to road law in Western Australia can be incorporated.

  PLEASE NOTE:
  ------------
The DriveSafe Hpertext is based on the 3rd edition of the DriveSafe
Handbook which is printed and published by the Traffic Board of Western
Australia. This hypertext is not intended to be a replacement for the
  handbook.

Although the hypertext contains specific references to road law only
applicable in Western Australia, the general content of the material is
also consistent with that applied in other Australian states. However all
Australian users are advised to contact their local driver licensing
center or authorities for a copy of the driver education publications
  applicable in their state.

International users are advised that the material presented in this
hypertext may not be suitable for their specific use. These users should
also contact their local or regional driver licensing authorities for a
copy of the relevant driver education publications.

REQUIREMENTS:

IBM PC or compatible (XT or higher),
  . 640K RAM memory,
at least 1.3 megabytes of free hard disk space,
EGA, VGA or SVGA video monitor to display graphics
otherwise CGA, Mono & Hercules for text only,
   (optional) Microsoft compatible mouse.

The text version of the DriveSafe Hypertext has been designed to run
on a basic PC with just 640k and a CGA or Mono monitor. A number of
graphic image files (the .PCC files listed below) are also provided
but can only be displayed if you have an EGA or higher video monitor.
Users with EGA cards are warned that most of these images have been
scaled for VGA monitors and will not display completely on an EGA
  monitor.

As we have kept the size of this program down so that it can fit on
either a 1.2 or 1.44 meg floppy. Please note that because of it's
graphical nature, the program will run slowly when from a floppy disk.

extract their contents using PKUNZIP v2.0.

Note: If you wish to keep a copy of the archive files, please
ensure you copy them to a floppy disk before deleting from
           your hard disk.

  5. When all of the files have been extracted, DriveSafe is ready to GO!
