Gwinn SMTP/SNPP Paging Gateway

This version of the gateway software is limited to 45 characters per
page, but supports 15 concurrent SMTP/SNPP sessions.  Output to the
paging terminal is via single TAP/IXO serial line.

PC Requirements:

  386-SX or better
  1M RAM
  Ethernet card and Clarkson/FTP packet driver
  1 Serial Port (COM1:)
  Hard disk is optional

Terminal Interface Requirements:

  A *dedicated* TAP/IXO serial port configured to run at 9600 baud.
  Appropriate cabling to connect to a PC's serial port.

Installation Instructions:

  Copy all of the files in this archive onto a bootable floppy or
  hard disk.  Copy AUTOEXEC.XXX to AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.XXX to
  CONFIG.SYS.  *BE SURE* (before you do this) that the system that
  you are installing this on has its AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS
  backed up--or be sure that you are using a dedicated computer!
  In other words, don't trash your system accidentally!

  Install a packet driver appropriate to the ethernet card in the
  PC.  Edit AUTOEXEC.BAT (was AUTOEXEC.XXX) and insert the appropriate
  command where indicated.

  Edit PAGEGATE.CFG substituting the appropriate values.

  Connect the cables between the Gateway and the IXO paging terminal.

  Cycle the power and watch it go!
