INSTALLATION

If you downloaded WSSETUP and ran it, Wordsheets is already installed 
on your Windows system.

If you downloaded WSHEET40.ZIP and unzipped it, run the appropriate 
installation program as shown below.

For Windows:

   Run SETUP.EXE

For DOS:

   Run INSTALL.EXE


For OS/2

   Run INSTALL.EXE and then

   Run OS2SETUP.CMD from the Wordsheets program directory (C:\WSHEETS)

WINDOWS '95 TIPS

*If you get spurious characters at the top or bottom of your 
worksheets, try turning off bidirectional printing.

   1. Click Start, Settings, Printers.
   2. Right click on your printer and choose properties.
   3. Click details page
   4. Click Spool Settings (near bottom)
   5. Click Disable bi-directional support then click OK

If you have other printing problems or the above doesn't help:

   1. Follow steps 1-3 above
   2. Click Port Settings (near bottom)
   3. Uncheck Spool MS-DOS print jobs

With Windows '95 you can run wordsheets full screen or in a window. By 
default it is in a window. This can be changed as follows:

   To switch from window to full screen mode:
      1. Start Wordsheets
      2. There are icons just under the Wordsheets title bar.
         Click on the icon that has four arrows pointing out at a
         square.

   To switch from full screen to window mode:
      1. Start wordsheets.
      2. Press ALT-ESC to get back to the windows desktop.
      3. On the task bar you will see WSHEETS.
         Click the right button WSHEETS and click properties.
      4. Click the screen tab.
      5. Select Window.

   Leave the WSHEETS properties window open for the next tip.

If you want Windows '95 to close the DOS window after Wordsheets 
finishes, do the following:

   If the WSHEETS properties window is open skip to step 4.
   1. Start Wordsheets. If you can see the task bar (start button),
      skip to step 3.
   2. If running full screen, press ALT-ESC to see the desktop.
   3. On the task bar you will see WSHEETS.
      Click the right button on WSHEETS and click properties.
   4. Click on the program tab if it isn't in the front.
   5. Check the box Close on exit (near the bottom).

   You can close the WSHEETS properties window.
