Installation:
After extracting timspr.exe simply run it.
If you are updating a prior install it will
prompt you to overwrite when extracting a data type file.
  just answer NO or NEVER.
If you did not install in c:\timspr you will need to
go into SETUP and specify locations of files.

About this Program:
  written in Foxpro 2.6
Hours must be entered in this format:
enter 2.50 to equal 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Purpose:
To aid in the calculating of payroll.
To create legible reports for your accounting office.
  To increase accuracy of payroll.
To save time (If used with the timeclock application).
Links to my modified SBT accounting software.
See xpst.prg for linking to yours.

Overtime:
I only Calculate overtime by > 40 hours per week.
overtime is applied to the job employee worked most at.

Documentation:
Simple word files (*.doc)to allow new user to get started.
Please email your questions to timsch@midusa.net

Password:
  The administrative password is ADMIN.

When adding your users (people who can get access to the program)
Access levels are ranked from 1 to 9. With 1 being the lowest.
a access level of 6 could be considered a manager level.
A access level of 4 limits changing employee info.
Each user can have their own password/access level.
Also if timeclock is installed later your payroll users will
also use the same password/access levels in timeclock.

Getting started:
There are some postings (hours) in the current period.
  So, you should look at
  the reports before closing/changing period.
To create data files for your operation see the UTILITIES menu.
You should see REMOVE SAMPLE DATA there.

Change the drives from the programs SETUP menu to fit your system.
This should not be required if the program files are placed
  in c:\timspr

Time Clock:
Time Clock is software that links with Payroll Reporting.
  Employees clock in/out.
Then the time clock program can update hours in Payroll Rep.
Time clock update is set off by default.
To activate the Time Clock update use the SETUP pad in Payroll.
Time clock should only be installed after
  payroll is up and running.
(It uses the payroll employee and jobs files.)

Known Limitations:
1. The tip analysis report will not work it "TIPS" are named
   something else like "GRATUITIES"
2. Salary amount is figured at report time. Since I could not
figure a correct way to calculate a hourly rate for a salary
employee. However the daily report can be saved as a .xls type
   file for your modification.
3. This program is not meant to be a Job costing application.
It does allow employees to be paid a varying rates for different
jobs where jobs are like COOKING HOSTING ROOFING WHATEVER.
I may be able to modify or sell you the source code for modification
   if you need job costing.
4. With multiple rates of pay the overtime rate may not be what you want.
It is figured at the employees primary rate * 1.5 and the primary rate
     is at least minimum wage.
5. Please let me know if you would like me to fix any of these problems
for your specific needs. Bug information can be emailed to me at
   timsch@midusa.net
