README.TXT for TIMER0.EXE

Purpose: TIMER0 is a no nonsense timer.
No nag screens, no about box, self-explanatory.

Installation:
Just copy the executable TIMER0.EXE in a directory of your choice.
You can add an icon to a program group if you like, with the
File... New... command of the program manager.

This program needs VBRUN300.DLL.
Simtel.Net maintains the latest versions of these runtimes in the
/simtelnet/win95/dll and /simtelnet/win3/dll directories, readily
available for download.

Running the program
You can doubleclick the icon. Or, you can just start the program
with the "Run" command from the File menu of the program manager.
Or, you can start it from a file manager.

The program has two possible command line options.

Starting with the command line
JMTIMER 8:00:00 remain
fills the "alarm time" field at start with "8:00:00"
so you will be warned when it is time to go home and see your family

Starting with the command line
JMTIMER 17:00:00 alarm
fills the "Remaining" field at start with "17:00:00"
so it will go off at five o'clock.

The program is Freeware. Enjoy it to be in time from now on.

You may distribute this program freely.
You may not ask any money for it.

Known Bugs
You can enter for example 72:00:00 for the alarm to get a beep after three days. Some people find this is a bug; others do enjoy it. Since it is easier to leave it this way I myself like to think this is no bug. Still, you are warned.
