Uninstall Instructions for Roxie's Reading Fish

PLEASE NOTE:  If you are installing the registered version
of "Roxie's Reading Fish" you do NOT need to uninstall the
shareware version first.  The "Roxie's Reading Fish" install
program will copy over your old files and program icons with
new ones.

Uninstalling "Roxie's Reading Fish" from your hard drive is 
simple.  There are two main steps: 1)  deleting the program 
files from your hard drive and 2) deleting the program icon.
No files are ever placed in the Windows directory, or anywhere
else but the program directory.  The Windows registry is NOT
modified by installing this program.
	
A)  UNINSTALLING THE PROGRAM FOR WINDOWS 95

	1.  Delete the program files from your hard drive
	    a.  Click on Start/Programs/Microsoft Explorer.
                Click once on "Readfish" to highlight it, not on 
                the + to the left of it.  Select "Delete" from the 
                "File" menu.
 	    b.  When you are sure you no longer want these files
                double-click on the Recycle Bin on your desktop,
                and select "Empty Recycle Bin" from the "File" menu.
	2.  Remove the program and group from the Start Menu Programs
	    a.  Click on Start/Settings/Taskbar.  Select the
                "Start Menu Programs" tab.  Click "Remove" and click
                on "Roxie's Reading Fish", to highlight it.  Do not 
		click on the + to the left of it.  If you did, now
		click on the - to the left of it.  Click "Remove."
	3.  Your uninstall is complete.

	

B)  UNINSTALLING THE PROGRAM FOR WINDOWS 3.1

	1.  Delete the program files from your hard drive
            a.  From Windows, double-click on the "Main" group.
                Then double-click on "File Manager."  Find the
                directory where the Roxie's Reading Fish directory
                exists.  If you used the default when installing the
                program, the directories will be in:
                        c:\readfish
                (See "FINDING YOUR PROGRAM FILES" below if you have
                difficulty locating your program files.)
            b.  Highlight the c:\readfish directory.  Do this by first
                clicking on the "C" near the top of the inner window
                of the File Manager.  Click once on "READFISH."  You
                may need to scroll down the list of directories to do so.
            c.  When "READFISH" is highlighted, press the Delete key
                (or select File/Delete).  You will see a dialog boc
                asking if you wish to Delete C:\READFISH?  Click on ok.
                Then you will see two more dialog boxes.  Click on
                "Yes to All" in response to both of those dialog boxes.
        2.  Delete the program group and program icon
            a.  From Windows, click just ONCE on the Roxie's Reading
                Fish icon.  If you see a pop-up menu above the
                Roxie's Reading Fish icon, click anywhere else on
                the screen to close the menu.
            b.  When the Roxie's Reading Fish icon is highlighted,
                press the Delete key (or select File/Delete).  You
                will be asked "Are you sure you want to delete the
                group "Roxie's Reading Fish"?  Click on "Yes."
	3.  Your uninstall is complete.

	

FINDING YOUR PROGRAM FILES

There is a quick way to determine where your program files are
located on your hard drive.  In Windows, double-click on
the Roxie's Reading Fish group to open the group.  Then click
just once on the "Roxie's Reading Fish" icon.  From the "File"
menu select "Properties."  Under working directory you will see
the directory where the program files are located.
