To install properly BRiNDYS CAT, please execute now the self-extracting file:
    ENGLISH.EXE
It will create a directory (C:\UTIL by default) and will copy there the program
Once installed, I recomend you to include the used directory in the PATH list
of directories (in AUTOEXEC.BAT)
I recomend you to execute CAT /i to perform an internal check of the program.
It must show a message like this:
    Check (C:\UTIL\CAT.EXE): <OK>
If between the less than and greather than symbols the word OK doesn't appear,
(that is, you get <>), then the copy you have of CAT is not valid, and may
have been in contact with a virus, or the file has been tampered with.
You can rename the program CAT.EXE to be D.EXE or something easy for you. You
can copy it to the C:\DOS (or under Windows 95 C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND) directory,
and in that case you won't need to change the PATH and will be able to run the
program from any directory.
At least, take a look at the screen shown by CAT /? and if you find the
program interesting, please read the documentation files.
