FILEINFO will analyze 16 and 32 bit Windows executable files
(EXE DLL SCR DRV FON VBX QTC CLA CPL NCP NED NNL OCX and OVL)
and print the identification information placed in that file by the author.

This information can be invaluable in determining where files that have been
installed on your system came from, what they do, and what their versions are. 

You will first be asked to select an output device which may be the
Screen, HP Printer, Epson Printer, or a Text file.

After that you will be able to select the drive, path and one or
more files to analyze.  The current version of the program can only
process files from one directory at a time.

Finally an alphabetical list of the selected file(s) will be printed
along with the identification information shown below.

The program uses a series of simple menus for all input.

I am distributing this program as shareware and requesting a minimal fee
of $5 so that I can determine the extent that this program is being used
and the interest in similar programs that I have written.

INSTALLATION:
FILEINFO is a simple DOS based program that runs under DOS, Windows 3.1, or
Windows 95.  Simply copy the file FILEINFO.EXE to any directory that you wish.
Add the program to your Program Manager or Start Menu or you can execute it
from DOS by simply typing FILEINFO.  I have included an icon (FILEINFO.ICO)
if you wish to replace the default MSDOS icon that Windows produces.
