Additional Readme Information for Release 1.20
==============================================

Since the product shipped, the original publishers (American Radio
Education) have gone away. The product has reverted to the program's
author (Michael Crick). Support is now provided by email at
mica@crick.com.

Meanwhile look for a retail version of Ham University being published
by Timewave Technology Inc. of St Paul, MN. This is the same code as
Ham University but retail distribution and support are provided by
Timewave. (Ham University is only sold via the Internet.)

1) Upgrading from Earlier Versions

If you had previously purchased Ham University and would like to enjoy
the latest version (which includes the new GENERAL Level Quesion Pool)
you may do so without upsetting the copy protection provided you
follow the correct procedure. It is IMPORTANT that you do NOT erase
your old, purchased copy, before you install the new copy. You must
install the new copy over the old copy into the same directory.

2) Operating in machines with support for only 16-colors

To run best using a 16-color video card, use Setup16.exe instead of
Setup.exe. (This feature is not supported in the Demo version)

3) Operating under Windows NT

You cannot run without a sound card using Windows NT.

4) Operating with Windows 95

If, after upgrading to Windows 95, your original Ham University
program does not run correctly, please re-install the program from
the original disk OVER the top of the original working program.
It should then work properly again.
