1. What is Verbix?

Verbix is linguistic software, that helps in verb grammar.
It is designed for students of foreign languages to help with
the verb inflections. The languages available are the following:

- Romance languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, 
  Romanian, Galician, Catalan & Occitan.
- Germanic languages: English, Swedish, German, Dutch, 
  Norwegian & Danish.
- Ugric languages: Finnish & Setu.
- Extinct languages: Latin, Gothic, Old English & Middle High-German
- etc.

To get all languages in use, check the availability of 
Verbix Modules or full Setup packages at:

2. What for are Add-ins?

Verbix Add-ins bring extra functionality to Verbix.

There are different kind of Add-ins (with the filenames):
1) Verb database (c31verbc.zip)
2) Conjugation Modules (c31l???c.zip)
3) Verb translations (c31trnsc.zip)
4) Additional info texts (c31xtrac.zip)
5) Animations (c31videc.zip)
6) Sound clips (c31sndsc.zip)


Add-ins are available at Verbix web site
http://www.verbix.com/download.asp
and in Simtel archives with the filenames above.

To use a Add-in, you must have Verbix version
3.1 or higher installed on your computer.

If you haven't Verbix 3.1 or higher installed, you
have to download it from 
http://www.verbix.com/download.asp 
After Verbix installation, you can proceed with
the Add-in installation. If you install Verbix full
setup, you don't need to install Add-ins anymore.

3. How is the Add-in installed?

3.1 Add-in installation

Verbix Add-in installation starts simply by 
double-clicking the EXE-file inside the Simtel-
archive.

The installation lets you specify, where to 'unzip' 
the file. If you have installed Verbix with the 
default parameters, you can press the Unzip button.

If you are not sure about the current Verbix
installation, check the following by running Verbix:
1) Verbix version must be 3.1 or higher.
   Choose 'Help | About' from menu to see the version.
2) Add-in installation directory must be the same
   as Verbix directory path. 
   Choose 'Help | About' and 'Languages' tab to see 
   the installation directory.

4. Distribution notes

You are allowed to distribute Verbix files in any 
electronic format on any media. In case of redistribution,
following rules have to be applied:

1.  Verbix Add-ins must be distributed either in
    the same format as found in Simtel archives.

2.  The Author (Erik Lindberg) and Verbix homepage
    ( www.verbix.com ) must be
    mentioned.

3.  The Author must be notified about this:
