ExSimEck 1.4b
-------------

ExSimEck helps extracting electrical potential arrays generated
by the SIMION 3D 6.0 software from Scientific Instrument Services,
Inc. For scientists ExSimEck provides an easy way of exporting their
potential array simulations to most scientific plotting programs
for analysing or publishing purposes. Therefore, ExSimEck only seems
to be usefull for licenced SIMION users.

For more information see file EXSIMECK.DOC which can be - if deleted -
generated by calling EXSIMECK.EXE ? > EXSIMECK.DOC.

Installation
------------

For Win3.x it is recommended to generate a pif file which calls
EXSIMECK <YOUR_OPTION_FILE>.CFG. The user interface then is
<your_option_file>.cfg, which offers all of ExSimEcks extraction
possibilities.

If you are using the GNU C Compiler under RHIDE you may build the
executable from the source EXSIMECK.C by yourself, no special
compiler or linker options are necessary.

For running ExSimEck under pure MSDOS you need to install a DMPI
server for memory managment of the gcc executable.

ExSimEck also should work fine under WIN95.

Distribution
------------

This utility is distributed under the GNU General Public Licence.
(See files COPYING, EXSIMECK.C, and EXSIMECK.DOC, for details.)

Since you are allowed to edit and improve the source code, do not
delete source code information concerning the program's history,
general documentation, and distribution status. If you change the
source code, you must add your name, address, email, etc., to the
authors' section.

See the file TO_DO.TXT for additional programing intended in the future.
