Introduction: NCH Intelligent Messaging Software

Thank you for downloading the NCH Intelligent Messaging Software. The IMS plays telephone on-hold messages using a Window 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT computer. The messages are mixed with music in real time, processed for telephone, and played continually with intelligent message scheduling. You can continue to use your computer for other tasks while the IMS runs in the background.

System Requirements:
Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows NT, Windows 95
  Minimum 4MB Ram
  Minimum 486DX66
  Standard Windows Sound Card

To install the IMS, run ohmsetup.exe. Further documentation is available online by pressing the help button.

The software comes with free music (2 tracks) generic on-hold messages in either American or Australian voices. If you have not downloaded the correct accent, please visit http://www.nch.com.au/ims where you can download the messages and, if you wish, change your music.

If you wish to have Custom Messages or Update Messages professionally scripted and recorded please visit http://www.nch.com.au/onhold for Australian Messages or http://www.nch.com.au/ims for a list of international on hold message producers. You can also contact NCH: Swift Sound on nch@nch.com.au who can either produce your messages for you, or refer you to a production studio near you with appropriate facilities.

The most recent version of this software can be downloaded free at http://www.nch.com.au/ims. At that site you can also download free changes to your music, download generic on hold messages (in many international accents) or arrange to have Custom On Hold Messages.

The software is fully functional to play generic on-hold messages or properly produced professional on-hold messages. There are some restrictions on the user record feature of the free software. User recorded messages will not run for more than 2 weeks and only 4 user messages can be recorded. To obtain fully registered software please contact us.

This software is distributed subject to certain licence terms which limits the software licence and limits our liability. If you intend to rely on this software or to distribute the software, please read the NCH Software Licence Terms on the online help.
