PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

OneQuot(tm) is Microsoft Word(r) based productivity software to
automate the preparation of sales quotations, proposals,
bids, and invoices for small businesses (e.g.,
manufacturers, distributors, integrators, contractors,
consultants, field sales organizations with a global reach).
The software offers the flexibility and ease-of-use of MS
WORD while maintaining the automatic features of more rigid
database/spreadsheet based programs. A full math package is
included to do price extensions, sub totals, discounts, and
total and more. The database of items and parts to be used
in quotations is input or imported as a WORD table. The
program works entirely within WORD and produces a normal
WORD document that can be edited any way WORD allows. Our
web site, with the full product description, can be found
at:
http://www.AmplifyLLC.com/onequot/

OneQuot requires Word version 8 (Word 95) or Word Version 9
(Word 2000) installed on a PC in order to function. Versions
of OneQuot for all Word versions are available from our web
site at:
http://www.AmplifyLLC.com/onequot/download.htm

This Product is a DEMO which will run for 30 days. A License
Agreement ("1Qlicnse.doc") is provided in the "System"
subfolder of the OneQuot main folder (where this file
resides) and during installation this will be shown to the
installer.

The DEMO has all the features of our PRO and PRONET versions
except it will only produce documents one page in length. In
addition to the PRO version and PRONET version, which can be
installed on Networks, there is a STD version which has a
reduced feature set at a lower price. A comparison of the
different versions can be found at:
http://www.AmplifyLLC.com/onequot/compare.htm

You can always contact us through our web site or by
emailing us at help@AmplifyLLC.com.

UPGRADING DEMO TO THE PRO, PRONET or STD VERSION

Prices are currently $149 and $39, respectively for the PRO
and STD version. The PRONET version is priced per user.
Updated pricing can always be found on our web site at:
http://www.AmplifyLLC.com/onequot/ordering.htm

Orders can also be placed directly from the above web page.
Alternatively, ordering information is provided in the
"1Qorder.doc" file in the "System" subfolder. This file has
all the information required to order via the Internet,
phone, fax, and mail; an order form is provided.

Upon receipt of an order, registration keys will be e-
mailed.

INSTALLING ONEQUOT ON YOUR HARD DISK FROM THE DOWNLOADED
FILE

1. The "1Quot89.exe" file in this "1Quot.zip" file can be
extracted to any location on your hard drive disk, although
it is better to have it in its own folder or directory.

2. Double click the "1Quot89.exe" file.

3. A dialog box (Winzip Self-Extractor) will appear and will
ask for the folder (directory) where the program files
should be sent and located (unzipped to). The default
location will be "c:\1Quot". (Please note that the supplied
manual and documentation always refer to the default
location.) You can change this to another folder or
directory, or use the d: drive. OneQuot only permits user
installation on the c: or d: drives. The DEMO and PRONET
versions can also be copied onto a network drive, as long as
each user installs a copy on a local c: or d: drive--see the
manual for more information. Depending on the OneQuot
version you install it will take up to 1.2MB of disk space.

(Please note: If you already have a previous version of
OneQuot installed you can choose to uninstall it first--see
below--or proceed as follows: If OneQuot is already
installed in the folder you choose above, you can uncheck
the box "Overwrite files without prompting" so that you will
be prompted before any existing file is overwritten. There
are more than 30 files installed. However, the installation
will not overwrite files YOU created in the OneQuot folder
unless you choose to use names already used by OneQuot,
e.g., those of the OneQuot demo and documentation files, all
of which start with characters "zdm" or "1Q".)

4. Press the "Unzip" button. The download file will be
exploded and the resulting files transferred to the
designated location. Once all the files have been
transferred press the "Close" button to close the Winzip
Self-Extractor window. OneQuot is now ready to be installed
with WORD.

5. The download file can be deleted from your hard drive,
although we recommend you do this after successfully
performing the WORD installation procedure below. (Note: We
also recommend that you make a copy of the download file for
back-up purposes by making a copy on a diskette or
elsewhere. IMPORTANT: use a fresh diskette or re-format an
existing diskette. The program can need at least 1.2MB of
space, nearly all the room on a 3.5" floppy. Label the
diskette "OneQuot Version 4.5. Copyright Amplify LLC 1994-
2000". Keep it in a safe place with a copy of this document
just in case you have to reinstall OneQuot at some time in
the future.)

INSTALLING ONEQUOT INTO WORD

1. If you are already using WORD, close all the open files,
and then exit WORD.

2. Restart WORD, and from the top WORD menu, choose File,
then Open. To install OneQuot into WORD you need to open the
"install.doc" file in the folder where you installed OneQuot
on your hard disk. If you installed it in the default
"c:\1Quot" folder then open the file:
 "c:\1Quot\install.doc".
(If you did not use the default, use the folder location
where you installed OneQuot on your hard drive.) Open the
file like any other WORD document by either locating the
file in dialog box, or typing the name in where WORD asks
for "File name".

3. Press the OK button or the "Open" button to open the
installation file. Then just follow the simple directions
and provide the necessary information. Installation only
takes a couple of minutes at the most.

(IMPORTANT FOR WORD 2000: If you receive this Visual Basic
message
"The macros in this project are disabled. Please .....",
press OK and then in Word, from the top menu, go TOOLS,
MACRO, SECURITY and select the 'Security Level' tab. Change
from High to Medium Level. Now close all the open files,
open the 'install.doc' file again, and you will see a dialog
box saying the file contains macros. Click on 'Enable
Macros' and the installation should proceed. If you want to
know more about this you can go to the Microsoft web site
at:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q192/0/73.a
sp )

(Please note: If a previous version of OneQuot has been
installed into WORD, you will get a dialog box with the
message:
"A previous or current installation of OneQuot has been
detected"
and you will be given the option to
"Install or Re-Install OneQuot" or "Uninstall OneQuot "
You can either uninstall (see section below), and then
install the new version of OneQuot, or re-install. If you
choose "re-install" and a dialog box entitled "OneQuot
Library - Copying File" appears (it won't under some upgrade
conditions), make sure that you choose to overwrite the
existing "onequot.dot" file.

UNINSTALLING ONEQUOT

To remove the OneQuot files and folders/directories from
your computer, do the following:

1. Open the file "c:\1quot\install.doc". This is the same
file you used to install OneQuot. Once opened you will see a
dialog box that give you the option to uninstall OneQuot.
Choose that option. OneQuot will be uninstalled
automatically. However, all files in the "c:\1quot" folder
will remain.

2. Delete the "c:\1quot" folder with the Windows Explorer
(Win95/8). CAUTION: Do not delete any of the sub-folders
that contain documents you have created with or for OneQuot
if you wish to retain them. Notwithstanding the preceding
sentence, delete the "c:\1quot" folder/directory, all its
sub-folders/sub-directories, and all the files contained
within them.

THE ONEQUOT TUTORIAL

To help you get familiar with OneQuot there are a number of
Tutorials that come with the Program. Once OneQuot is
installed you can find the Tutorial by:

1. Starting WORD

2. Starting OneQuot. Do this clicking the blue "1Q" button
on the Top Toolbar, or by clicking on the Top File Menu and
choosing "New Quot File". A dialog box will appear and click
the "Try a Tutorial" button.

3. This takes you to the top "1Quot" item on main menu
(between File and Edit) and the OneQuot menu will appear.
Choose Tutorial 1 first and then follow with the other
Tutorials.

ONEQUOT MANUAL

The Manual is supplied with the OneQuot disk as the file
("c:\1quot\system\1Qmanual.doc"). Open this file in WORD and
print-out the manual. The first part of the manual (about 13
pages) is best for getting a quick start. The remainder is
mainly for reference.

ONEQUOT SOFTWARE LICENSE

The License is provided as a file
("c:\1quot\system\1Qmanual.doc"). It will be presented to
you during installation to read and approve or decline. You
can also open this file in WORD and read it.

README FILE

There is a WORD file called "c:\1quot\system\1Qreadme.doc"
on your hard disk. You should read it to get further
information on OneQuot before you start using the OneQuot.

Thank you for getting OneQuot.
