Welcome to Cincom's MANAGE, the management and financial solution for small
business, distributors and manufacturers.

This shareware version of Cincom's MANAGE may be freely distributed.

To install Cincom's MANAGE on your computer, run SETUP.EXE and follow the
instructions.

As part of this special single-user version of Cincom's MANAGE,
you are entitled to submit 5 support questions via email at no charge within
the first 30 days from product installation.  

Support questions submitted after that will cost $20.00 US, paid in advance by
credit card.  All MANAGE inquires should be sent to:

                      www.ManageSupport@Cincom.com.

If you plan to use Cincom's MANAGE beyond 60 days, you must acquire a key code
from Cincom.  This can easily be obtained at no charge by sending an email to:

     www.ManageSupport@Cincom.com    with "Request Key" in the subject.
  
All documentation, in Microsoft Word format, will be installed on your computer
with shortcuts placed on your Desktop and Programs menu.  The MANAGE
documentation set includes: User Guide, Guided Tour, and Workshops for
MANAGE's primary functions.  Please feel free to print these documents and use
them to learn the powerful features and benefits of Cincom's MANAGE.

Note: Shortcuts are placed on your Desktop for your convenience.  Please feel
free to delete any or all of them.

To start Cincom's MANAGE, double-click the "Cincom's MANAGE" icon on the
desktop or select "Cincom's MANAGE" from your computers Programs Menu.

Three databases are included with this single-user version of MANAGE:
   *  manageDemo.mdb - populated with some customers,vendors,etc for easy trial
       and "play with the product" activity.
   *  manage.mdb - this is the active database which stores all MANAGE data
   *  master.mdb - an empty database containing the schema (tables and fields) expected
       by MANAGE.  It is included to allow you to easily create a new MANAGE
      database for some use - simply copy it !  Some of the tables are populated with
      default values ( e.g. the master has a complete general ledger in it ).

To switch from one database to another:
   1)  Select DATABASE | CLOSE from the FILE menu
   2)  Click YES when asked if you want to close the Active Database
   3)  Select DATABASE | OPEN from the FILE menu
   4)  Select the appropriate database from the dialog box and click
        OPEN
   5)  Click YES when asked if you want this database as your default.
