Computing Edge Time Tool 2.0
By The Computing Edge

Thank you for trying out Time Tool! Time Tool is designed to help you
keep track of the time you spend working on your computer. You may assign any
time you spend to a specific project or "job," and when that job is complete,
Time Tool can generate a nicely formatted invoice for you. Time Tool
fills the void between keeping track of your billable hours on a scrap of
paper and purchasing a big, expensive accounting package.

I encourage you to check out the help features within Time Tool. If you
can punch in and out of a time clock, you can use Time Tool. Even its
more advanced features are intuitive, but for a good overview, select "Contents"
from the Help menu. Time Tool also features extensive context-sensitive
help. If you ever question what a specific dialog or control does, just hit
the F1 key for an explanation.

DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS AND LICENSING IN A NUTSHELL
===============================================

Time Tool is a shareware program. This means that you may test it free of
charge. You may also distribute it freely to others so they may try it.

INSTALLING
==========

Just launch the file "setup.exe" included in this archive. It will walk you
through the installation process.

KNOWN ISSUES
============

Time Tool is not designed to be run over a network by multiple simultaneous
users. Time Tool should be installed to your local hard drive. It's OK to
install it from a network, of course.

DISCLAIMER

either expressed or implied, including without limitation, any representations or

REGISTRATION
============

Time Tool is provided to you fully functional, free of charge for 30 days,
so you may evaluate it. If you find it useful, please click on one of the
registration buttons that Time Tool first presents you with. It's only $15,
and we offer a variety of payment methods, including registration over the
World Wide Web with a credit card.

If you do not purchase and enter a registration code after 30 days, many functions
will be disabled, such as printing invoices and editing jobs and clients. You will
be able to continue to track time, but you will not be able to generate any reports
until you register.

Note that registration can take anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks depending on your
payment method. If you plan on registering by mail, please allow enough time for
your registration to get to us and for us to get your code back to you before your
trial period expires. If you can pay by credit card, registration is much faster
if you do it over the web or via e-mail.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
===================

Time Tool requires Windows95 or newer. Its memory and disk requirements are minimal.
There is also a Macintosh version available.
