System Requirements
-------------------
Porkplot requires Windows 95(or higher) and Autocad 14 or higher.
Other operating systems and release versions have not been tested.
Autocad versions above Autocad 14 may not be completely compatible with some modules
of SowSuite 2000. New releases continue to address compatibility issues as they are
reported. Free upgrades are often available to the individual reporting unknown
compatibility issues after the error is addressed by our staff.

Installation
------------

1) Download or copy SowSuite.cab or SowSuite.exe to a directory you create called SowTemp.
Start Windows Explorer. Double-click on SowSuite.cab and extract SowSuite.exe to the
SowTemp directory if SowSuite.cab was downloaded. From Windows Explorer double-click
on SowSuite.exe in the c:\SowTemp directory to unpack the program installation package.
You may want to view Readme.doc, File_id.diz, and Reg.txt now. After the files
automatically extract, exit Windows Explorer and click on the Windows "Start" button
and then the "Run" icon. Now browse to the Install file in the c:\SowTemp directory.
Select the "OK" button and follow the short simple Install directions. After the
installation is complete, start Autocad. Now SowSuite will be attached to Autocad.
From the Autocad "tools" pulldown menu, select "Load application", click on the "File"
box, and browse to the c:\SowSuite directory. While in the c:\SowSuite directory click
on the down arrow on the right side of the "Files of type:" box and select ARX. The
file hogarx will then appear in the large dialog window. Select "hogarx" and click on
the "open" button. Now type porkit at the command line and hit enter. This will cause
the SowSuite pulldown menu to appear along with the SowSuite Icon ToolBar. Your done!
SowSuite will automatically reload each time Autocad is loaded. You can remove the
SowSuite program from Autocad at any time by selecting that option in the SowSuite
pulldown menu. The SowSuite menu can also be reattached as previously described. The
entire program can be removed from your hard drive by simply deleting the SowSuite
directory and the SowPlot directory and the contents of these 2 directories. The
installation does not make any changes to Autocad or other system files and does not
place any files in any other locations.

Module Descriptions
-------------------

1) PorkPurge automatically purges bulk quantities of drawings in a single directory.

2) PorkPlot automatically plots bulk quantities of drawings in a single directory.

3) SowScreen automatically screens a drawing to a single color so it can be used as
   a background.

4) TexTools automates alot of text editing that is required on most projects.

5) HogCover automatically builds a cover sheet for any project with minimal user input
and editing. It should be used after all other drawings have been created within
   the project directory.

6) LayerTile automatically builds a layerlist in the binding margin of a drawing so
the plotted layers can later be identified. This utility should be used just
   prior to each plotting.

7) PigPage automates setting up an Engineering style sheets and drawing site property
line boundaries. The propline command can be issued if the boundary prompting
is terminated after the sheet is built. Variables are preset.

8) HogSheet automates setting up an Architectural style sheets including variable
   presets.

9) HogWild is a collection of useful utilities some still in development and BETA
testing put forth for early preview.

10)WebPage will connect you directly to our website for on-line credit card orders
and new release information if you have an internet connection.

11)PlotPlus adds a date stamp and layer data tile to the binding area of a drawing
   prior to being plotted.

Release Notes
-------------

1) In the event of abnormal program termination the cmddia variable may need to
be set back to 1 to enable the command dialog boxes. Just type cmddia at the
   command prompt.

2) In the event of abnormal program termination the xloadctl variable may need to
be set to 2 to set external reference file demand loading to "enable with
copy". Just type xloadctl at the command prompt.

3) The windows printer spooler should be activated prior to running the PorkPlot
module. This can be done by going to start, settings, printers, right click
on the default printer and select properties, click details, click spool settings,
check "Spool print jobs so program finishes printing faster", check "Start printing
after first page is spooled", click OK, click OK and your done. When the plot
portion of the lisp file is run, the printer icon will appear in the taskbar. Double-
click on the icon to view the spooler contents. Right-click on a print document to
pause or cancel printing for that individual file. Select printer from the spooler
pulldown menu and click on pause printing to pause all print jobs. This interface
can be used to remove external reference files, title blocks, etc. from the spooler
since all directory contents will be plotted to the spooler when this lisp file is run.

4) We recommend copying some test drawing files to a temporary drawing directory to test
the program for operation on your particular system prior to general use. We have
addressed all known program errors but unknown errors could emerge as different system
   configurations interact with the program.

5) The Porkplot program is designed to plot the limits or extents of each drawing. Set
the sheet size, check "limits" or "extents", and select "plot to fit" in the
Printer/Plotter Configuration Dialog box. Manually run 1 plot to set the plotting
parameters prior to running the plot portion of porkplot. Do not plot by picking
windows or program will terminate abnormally.

6) Customization of program parameters can usually be done by our technical staff for a
nominal fee. Please e-mail your request to obtain fee information
and see if your request can be accomplished. A newly compiled program module will be
mailed immediately upon completion. Payment must be received prior to assembly of the
modified program. The new program will be issued in accordance with the original terms
and conditions issued with SowSuite standard release versions.

7) PorkPurge saves all drawings after they are purged.

8) SowScreen may terminate abnormally if very large blocks containing large amounts of
nested information are processed. This is apparently a compiler limitation and not
a program error. It is noted that the rectang command also apparently experiences
a compile error and is issued twice when a compiled arx component is run, therefore
all instances of this have been removed from our code. If SowScreen terminates before
it is done, save the drawing where SowScreen stops, purge the drawing, save the
drawing again, exit Autocad, restart the drawing and run SowScreen again. This will
usually bypass the compiler error. Sometimes this sequence must be executed twice.
Initially purging and saving the drawing prior to running SowScreen can reduce the
   chance of abnormal program termination.

9) This program was edited on 10-21-99 to make it more compatible with foreign versions
of Autocad, due to the large amount of foreign downloads.

10)Some functions will not work correctly if the dimscale has not been set correctly in
   the current drawing.

11)Screen resolution should be set to 1024 X 768 minimum.
