README.TXT for It's About Time(tm) 2.12

It's About Time, a 32-bit Windows time tracking
program, is designed to replace the old mechanical
"time clock", providing a networkable replacement
to run on employee's workstations. It can run as
a stand-alone program on a single workstation,
where employees clock in and out as they enter
and leave the workplace, or at any available
network workstations. It runs minimized in the
system tray to pop up on request for clocking
in or out. Unlike some systems, the cost of It's
About Time is not based upon the number of
employees, rather upon the number of workstations,
and the number of employees that can use the
system is not limited. In addition to the
functions of the old time clock, It's About
Time tracks time by department or project, and
allows the employee to enter a descriptive "memo"
on each in/out cycle. Several reports summarize
the collected data for entry into payroll
software. Times can be displayed in hours &
100ths, or hours & minutes. Many user-selectable
features and multi-level password security round
out the product, while maintaining it's easy to
use functionality. Program is distributed as a
30-day time-limited demo; after 30 days a $49.00
registration fee (1-5 users) is required.
