1. The purpose of the program.

This is a tool to develop data matrix, branching tree and rule based expert system that gets conclusions from questions. Provides exact conclusion even if several answers were not correct. Together with questions, presents images (.jpeg and .bmp). This can be real-world images of plants, diseased leaves, fungi, lichens, insects, etc. No special programming is required, already created old manuals for plant, insect etc recognizing can often be used almost directly. It helps to choose between 100-200 possible objects or situations and finally presents stored inforation about the determined object.

Det comes with two pre-builded keys, one for determining lichens and other for geometric figures.

2. How to install the program.

Unzip all files i any sigle folder, better without long name. For the beginning, run Runme!.bat. This launches very simple pre-build expert system to determine lichens (lichens.ts). It is also possible to open fig.ts for the key to determine geometric figures.
Then open Doc/BrowseMe.htm with any Internet browser to look at the documentation, necessary to create your own expert system.

The syntax of IDE: EskEd
The syntax of executer: Det <rule_file.ts>
The syntax of compiler: Esk <file_to_compile.key> [<result.ts>]

This version also contains the beta-build of the specialised editor with syntax highlight to edit the texts of the keys being created. It can also lauch the compiler Esk. However Esk, still being 16 bit application, don't support long names of files and folders.

If you decide to continue, open BrowseMe.htm in Doc folder with any Internet browser. There you will find all documentation necessary to buid your own expert system. You can also look at the Internet site http://members.xoom.com/es.htm for the newest, updated product and documentation.
