- Clips are now saved into default collection. The default collection is marked with the blue arrow. To mark a collection as a default collection, right click the corresponding tab and select "Set As Default" command.
- The URL of the source page of a clip is saved in the Source column, so you can return to the page later if you forgot where you got the clip from originally. Right click the clip and select "Run Source / Revisit URL".

- Fixed bug with copy/cut in Excel
- C. Pile now remembers the chosen format for saving graphic files and the directory where the graphic was saved.

v2.2 [May 24, 2000]

- Formulae in Excel could not be copied. Fixed.
- Pressing Ctrl+X in MS Word, Excel and some other applications caused Clipboard Pile to lock up. Fixed.
- When printing in Clipboard Pile the printer was 'spewing' the paper although the actual print job was finished. Fixed.
- Click on the tray icon didn't always activate the main window. Fixed.
- Click on the Search Results tab Under WIndows NT before doing a search, caused Clipboard Pile to shut down. Fixed.
- When dragging URL to Clipboard Pile, the title was wrong. Fixed.
- New advertisement module from Radiate.com (better stability).

- Optimization - Clipboard Pile uses much less system resources and loads faster
- "Play sound on capture" added (turned off by default)
- Right click on the tray icon turns Auto capture off/on. When Auto capture is off, Clipboard Pile does not capture items that were copied to the Windows clipboard. (the tray icon appears red when Auto capture is turned off)
- "No trash" option added. Previously, items deleted were moved to a 'trash' folder and had to be deleted from there.
- Full screen preview for pictures added
- Removed a few bugs in the "Always on top" mode: Clipboard Pile caused the system to lock up and it minimized the main window after the paste operation, although it should stay on top.

v1.2 [October 4, 1999]

- Clipboard Pile is now Freeware - advertisement window has replaced Shareware reminder window. (you must register Clipboard Pile to remove the advertisement window)
- "Collection" menu added (add, insert, rename and delete a collection)
