Here is a useful little batch file, for Win95, that will allow the user to erase the entire contents of a floppy disk from a shortcut or from a user defined directory (It is not a good idea to place this program in your Windows or Windows System directories i.e. C:\Windows & C:\Windows\System). You execute the program by double-clicking the icon. A DOS window will appear and any subsequent files, on the floppy, will be seen to be erased one by one. You can simply close the window after you see the word "Finished" in the Title Bar of the MS DOS Prompt Window.

This batch file assumes that your floppy drive designation is specified as A:
If this is not the case, and you are unfamiliar with batch file programs, please feel free to e-mail me at the address listed below and I will be more than happy to tell you how to make the necessary changes to facilitate the needs of your system. :-)

This is obviously freeware and it is fine to redistribute it to your heart's content to anyone but a Canadian. Ha Ha Ha, a little politically incorrect humour there. Or was it????
